Bands you never heard of until you saw them live

I've been messaging with @Herbivoreabout my Aftershock experience this year.

The main bands I came to see didn't disappoint.

The best thing about this weekend was watching some bands I've never heard of before.

Alestorm is a pirate/drinking themed band that was an absolute blast! 

Any of you dipsh1ts have a similar experience?

Probably the only one of note is Sleep Token.  I had never heard of them until a buddy of mine flew in to Denver last minute last year to see them.  We checked online and found another ticket for me so I got to go.  Had no idea what to expect but they were pretty good.
