Correction Ruling

Recommended Posts

21. (Added 09/08/03) A team may not "ripple bid" a player. Example: Bid 3 for RB James Studly, IF NOT/THEN bid 4 for RB James Studly, IF NOT/THEN bid 6 for RB James Studly. You cannot submit the same name more than once during any weekly bid.

In an earlier thread, I suggested it was ok to walk up or ripple bid on a player. I made that comment without fully reading established rules.

I apologize for the oversite. No one has been hurt so far by my oversite. The already established rule takes presedence since we do not want to go hot-shotting rules. The time to address changes is the Feb session.

Please forgive my oversite. No one may ripple bid or walk up bids on one player. At the time it was ment to force teams to "give it their best shot".

I will add this to the "Rules Discussion" Thread for the coming offseason.

thanks

Its always best to admit the mistake and take the whooping rather than let a problem build into a crisis...

Uneasy is the head that wears the crown.
