Geek Advice Appreciated - Money League

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to trade draft picks with another owner. Please evaluate this potential trade and let me know your thoughts.

Team A gets:

3.09, 4.04, 6.04

Team B gets:

2.06, 4.06, 7.07

This leaves Team A with the following picks through 8 rounds:

1.07

3.07

3.09

4.04

5.07

6.04

6.06

8.06

And Team B with the following picks through 8 rounds:

1.09

2.04

2.06

4.06

5.09

7.07

7.09

8.04

It's a 12 team league. Basic performance scoring. Although receptions are 1 pt for WR, TE and .5 for RB.

Thanks.

I would rather be team B. The farther down you get in a fraft the more it becomes a crapshoot. Not sure what Team A is hoping to accomplish there.

Bill Swerski:

A good site for helping judge the value of picks, the closer the final number is together, the more fair the deal.

In this instance, Player A is getting a FAR better deal.

Thanks for the tip. I used to use something similar on another site (KFFL perhaps?) but I think they went pay and haven't found a similar calculator.

How does A get the better deal?

They lose a 2nd and gain a 6th. The 4th round positions are so close, that it's practically a wash.

I'd rather be team B, myself.
