0021 0 Posted July 19, 2006 I personally think adding those two would be great....but, what about Lamont/Moss???????? Could you move one of them for equal value?

Last Name First Name G FPG Crank Sub Par Elite RB #1 RB #2 Alexander Shaun 16 23.68 95.93 12.50% 56.25% 81.25% 87.50% Johnson Larry 16 23.02 84.38 25.00% 56.25% 68.75% 75.00% Jordan Lamont 14 21.06 84.09 7.14% 35.71% 85.71% 92.86% Last Name First Name G FPG Crank Sub Par Elite WR#1 WR #2 WR #3 Owens Terrell 7 22.79 110.67 14.29% 57.14% 85.71% 85.71% 100.00% What you lose with Alexander, you gain with Owens and Jordan and enough of a gain with Owens instead of A. Johnson. I think this deal is a swing for the fences. If Moss rounds back to form and Owens is his typicallly productive self, you could do quite well. The problem is you should do well with a stud at the RB and WR position right now. But to me, Jordan is a good risk and Owens makes your WR corps possibly among the best. I'd do the deal if you aren't too risk adverse...

mdubz 0 Posted July 20, 2006 if andre johnson ends up breaking out this year (which i think he will) this would be just awful. i wouldn't do it.
WhiteWonder 2,172 Posted July 20, 2006 in the words of arnold shwarzanigger, NO DEAL

Son of Squirrel 0 Posted July 20, 2006 I would do this deal if you are willing to bank of Moss and TO playing up to form. Your WRs will lead your team and the Rbs will be a good compliment.
ff2006 0 Posted July 20, 2006 Don't do it - Owens is too volatile and S. Alexander too much of a sure thing. It's like trading an ongoing fling with Jessica Alba for one night with Paris Hilton - don't do it!
cntblah 0 Posted July 20, 2006 I would do this deal - your WR are horrible. TO is a huge upgrade for you at WR, while LJ is a smaller downgrade from SA.
Striker99 0 Posted July 20, 2006 True...thanks guys. But moss and owens have the same bye week, week 3..so im ###### that day. but im still doing it
unckeyherb 2 Posted July 20, 2006 i would do it I think. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=216675
Great White Hope 0 Posted July 20, 2006 I would do it. You are giving up the #3 pick for say the #8 and #15 picks. Andre is no earlier than 3rd round I would guess. I wouldn't take him until at least the 4th. Owens this year will be great. Jordan and Alexander both have some ???, so I think you are getting more of a sure thing this year by doing this. Good Luck!!

JOHN 316 7 Posted July 20, 2006 I'd do it....the upgrade from Johnson to Owens is obvious and Jordan should be able to improve if Moss is healthy again (and no reason to think he's not)
footballchaos 0 Posted July 20, 2006 I say no deal. Why? You may win throughout the season but come fantasy playoff time TO will break, you'll be without him, and you’ll be done. He's done it for the last three seasons. (Look it up) That is of course is if he even makes it that far into the season before going mental again. The Tuna has already said (in effect) “Show offs will not be tolerated”. Can T.O. go a whole season without doing something to please T.O.? I doubt it. The guy is the most talented nut I’ve ever seen… but he’s still a nut and he always seems to be hurt right when you need him most. Keep Alexander. Here is a question for you, how many people have won a title with Alexander on there team? Tons! How many have won with T.O. on their team? Not many, if any. Crunch the numbers all you like but this is the stat that matters. T.O. just isn’t a winner. He can help get you there but he can’t win it. Alexander can and has. Not to mention you would be going into the season with Jordan, Westbrook, and C-Mart as your RB's. That just doesn't spell "Championship Winner" to me. Westbrook tends to get injured at some point each season and now 5 years after he was supposed to break down C-Mart finally has. Blaylock will soon hold that job. Jordan is still only a top #2 RB in my mind. Even if Moss and Owens stay healthy and on the field this will still most likely be a disaster. Also consider this, what players does this other team have? Are you trading Alexander to a guy who has LT or LJ? That would be crushing especially if Johnson does rise up this season. Don't build the perfect beast for someone else on a hail mary like an Owens, Moss, Jordan pipedream super trio.
bdill77 0 Posted July 21, 2006 I don't think I would do it. It's just too risky to give up the 2nd or 3rd best player overall for anyone. If Johnson has a rebound year, which he is supposed to, than you'll be sitting pretty.
