49erGold 36 Posted October 19, 2014 Both are risky I go TWill cause Andre might be of been a fluke. I think James Jones is the clear 1 on the team.
jzadroga 5 Posted October 19, 2014 I like Holmes. He has looked great lately and the raiders are always playing from behind. If you need more feedback you can try posting your question here http://coachcue.com/?tb=fftoday and see how others vote. Good luck
weepaws 2,460 Posted October 19, 2014 Who to start at the flex? Roll with Holmes . Williams might get a TD plus two or three rec like he always seems to . But I think Holmes put scores him
Lake209 34 Posted October 19, 2014 It's close. T. Williams is NOT catching a lot of balls. His value is 100% tied to his ability to score TD's (and not PPR) which is is clearly able to do. I think the jury remains out with a good number of fantasy-players as to whether or not this will continue...but there are 6 weeks in the books...and Williams still continues to score. I disagree with 49ers Gold that Holmes is a "fluke," and would rather concentrate on what is occurring "now" (i.e. the 3 games Holmes has played in since Rod Streeter went down). I leave it to you to view those stats... Holmes is simply good...there's no fluke about it...if he were a 1-week wonder...you wouldn't know his name now. The dude is 6'5'' and catches bombs from a very good QB. Holmes biggest problem (esp. for FF purposes) is that he plays on the Raiders. Irony: the good QB throwing to him also plays for the Raiders. Irony, Part 2: They way you know Holmes is not a fluke is b/c he plays for the Raiders. I'd go with Holmes this week. His "tough" match-up (Cards/P. Peterson) is not as difficult as you might think. Peterson/Cards is far from Sherman/Seattle. He's allowed something like 5/6 scores this year. Holmes size and speed an advantage. With Palmer still coming back from injury, I like the Raiders to keep this one close..and even if behind..they will throw. Holmes should be very good. I feel safer as to his point-scoring than I do Williams. Mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=439212
