Is my "logic" here at all sound?

Recommended Posts

14-Team PPR. I'm 4-2 but facing the #1/Leader this week, who "should" win against me. I traded this week, obtaining J. Graham. I have Mega as well. Shooting for a playoff run after W10, when both Graham/Johnson's injuries resolve. Hoping to win 2 w/n next 3 weeks.

I have Brian Quick and could start him vs. Seattle/Sherman. Quick might be good for....6 for 70...maybe 3-25-1...good-not-great...I doubt he blow it up.

Speaking of blows, I could start *Cordarralle Patterson,* In fact, I am starting him. Picked him up off waivers this week for the express-purpose of starting him. :( It's not the Bill's secondary I fear. It is, of course, their pass rush, Teddy's ability to throw the ball past 10 yards (or from his @$$), and Cord's "talent."

I'm swing for the fences. Advice? Does anyone out there think Quick can do better than 10-13 points this week? Anything about Patterson's W7 tilt w/the Bills?...any chance (puke) he goes 20pts. or better?

Yikes... you know Graham might start right? And if he does will be put in the endzone packages only and maybe get 1 TD.

Sherman won't cover Quick he will be on one side of the field. If you score return yds I roll with Cordelle to be safe. I don't think you can count on Quick TD 7 pts might be ceiling. Patterson is pure speed like week 1 reverse salvaged the day... he be worth a look might get few screen pases maybe lights one up... he is probowl returner.

Graham even if he playes is not healthy decoy . Johnson decoy . Patterson when was the last time this season he scored 20 pts yea that's right .

I remember last yr Jimmy played was hurt missed most the game and was inserted for goal line work and caught a TD.

Dude your the one that has Patterson on your team... I didn't say he score 20 pts and guess, is best ww option Quick don't break 10 pts in all likelihood. Think Patterson is best option that is all.

Graham could get 7 pts off a TD play.

I never recommended CJ he is out till week 9. Jimmy is questionable 50-50 to start. I think he might play limited role non-decoy in goal line work if he is active maybe you got a sub-par backup so wanted to throw that info out. Yep, no 20 pt scorer here.

I agree with the other posts. I would go Patterson over Quick. While both Minnesota and St Louis are trying to find themselves, Patterson is a more consistent weapon...especially since they haven't figured out if McKinnon or Asiata will lead their running game. Quick now has to compete with Austin and the other receivers, and Austin Davis also seemed to be going to Cook more.

I think Quick is gonna have a crappy week. SEA will prob stick Shermstick on him. I would roll Patterson and stash Quick away. He's on mY bench as well.

In a situation like this, where there no clear stud play, I would roll with the more electric player. Patterson is due for another game close to that of week 1. Good luck!
