Vince44 202 Posted July 3, 2017 1 year--23 million The final piece to a return to the playoffs. This is a damn good starting five if everyone stays healthy.
cbfalcon 824 Posted July 3, 2017 Is the coach any good? If the coach sucks and lets the 3 young stars freelance in an effort to satisfy egos and keep them happy, then it doesn't matter....But if the coach forces discipline and know what he is doing, they should make a second half run and compete for a playoff spot. Then next year they should be fighting for home court in the 1st round. Then in year 3 they should enter into title contender talk. This assumes health of course. MDC 5,890 Posted July 3, 2017 Embiid's health is the big thing. If he plays 50-60 or more games the Sixers are a playoff team. If not I think they're a 35 or so win team on the cusp. It is really hard to predict a team with two rookies in the back court to finish better than .500.

Just as quickly, his season was over. Scary considering the foot issues he had coming out of college. I also agree that this is a playoff team. I can't wait to see Simmons play. He was fun to watch in the summer league last year.
