    Here come the tariffs

I guess all these farmers that can't sell their crops are just chicken little leftists that are fear mongering.

I can't remember, I thought I read it here, maybe not.

They think Trump is smart and knows what he's doing, or they are too proud to admit they were wrong.

We're dealing with a lot of disinformation right now. We've been told the father turned him in, we were told the tranny roommate turned him in. Who knows. The only thing has been amateur hour. Kash is not very good at his job.

https://www.commondreams.org/news/farmers-harmed-by-trump-policies “It’s a five-alarm fire,” one Kentucky soybean farmer said, describing the harmful effects of the president’s tariffs.

If these texts are real, we must also accept that the tranny turned the guy in, which shatters the "evil murderous tranny death cult" narrative.

Food is ridiculously expensive, don't you think??

What are you talking about? I was curious why the increase and he sounded like he knew. A quick google search returned this... So, what’s driving the beef price surge? Experts say there isn’t a single cause, but rather a confluence of factors. Among them: the U.S. cattle herd is at its lowest level since 1951 – just 86.7 million cattle and calves as of January 2025- while consumer demand remains strong. Additionally, drought conditions in the West since 2020 have driven up the cost of feed and forced many ranches to cull their herds. A flesh-eating parasite discovered in cattle herds in Mexico prompted the U.S. to stop imports from south of the border last year, further tightening supply. U.S. cattle ranchers say they have no choice but to pass along the increased cost of doing business to consumers to protect their margins. “I went up roughly a dollar a pound,” said Jim Richardson of Richardson Farms in Texas, speaking to the Texas Standard. “My processor went up that much or more. So, without kind of keeping up, it erodes your profitability.” The American Farm Bureau also points to President Trump’s tariffs as slowing U.S. beef exports. “While exports to countries like South Korea and Canada have remained strong, tariffs have slowed sales down, particularly to China,” the Farm Bureau noted in a report in May. “Total export sales to China are currently 32% behind 2024.” https://ktla.com/news/nationworld/beef-is-more-expensive-than-ever/

Agree with you on inflation and wage growth, however instead of blaming wage growth on illegals, we should look at how executives run corporations. Executives have done amazing the last 30 years. Middle class not so much.

I wouldn't call last year a spike, I know the author called it a surge, and he called this year a spike. I posted the %s If you live in NJ like you claim, you know that there wasn't outrage last year, there is this year. That's the point. And neither increase should be blamed on Trump, as I've been clear about all thread despite your lack of comprehension and obvious bias. Moving forward, we'll see, as I have pointed out, the plan was for more wind and solar and that's now removed. We're now looking at more nuclear. Energy prices overall should increase due to increased demand and lack of supply.

Uh, do we need to go back to the front to see where all the board righties said the kid was a tranny? Or every mass shooting thread where it's immediately blamed on a tranny?

It's these same people that got Trump elected, so you should thank them.

No, it didn't, and doesn't. For reference, here is the article: https://www.northjersey.com/story/news/new-jersey/2025/07/24/why-is-my-electric-bill-so-high-what-to-know-about-rising-nj-rates/85330762007/ Here is the quote from the article about the spike "The spike in electric bills started on June 1. The average customer had estimated rates increased by about $20 a month, and the average monthly bill was projected to increase between 17.23% and 20.20%" What you might be referring to is they only listed the 2024 increase. In 2024, rates surged, with an average of 8.7% and 12% increase in electric bills depending on the electric company. This years increase was double what last years was. I personally didn't see an increase last year because I was buying my supply elsewhere, but last years increase was manageable for most. This year different story, with NJ residents up in arms about the increase. But is is further proof that I did not blame the prior increases on Trump as suggested.
