bauman88 0 Posted August 31, 2007 10 teams, had pick 10. We start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, TE, K, Def, IDP. Scoring is basic with .5 pts per reception. What do you think? QB - McNabb, Kitna RB - Addai, Maroney, Dunn, Morency WR - Houshmandzadeh, Roy Williams, Donald Driver, Braylon Edwards, Vincent Jackson, S. Holmes TE - Cooley K - Gostkowski Def - Philly IDP - Adailius Thomas
Wheaties 0 Posted August 31, 2007 Team looks pretty solid... RB depth is sketchy... but you are good in the other areas. Hopefully, McNabb and Driver stay healthy. Thanks for replying to mine.

Only thing I would worry about is depth at RB. Not excited about Dunn or Morency.
mookie86mets 8 Posted August 31, 2007 GREAT TEAM. I LOVE YOUR TWO BACKS.
jshearer 0 Posted August 31, 2007 Not bad! I have reservations about McNabb because of health issues, but Kitna is a solid backup. Your front-line RBs are both good too, but not much depth (Dunn is sharing touches this year). This is also a problem I have (Gore and Maroney, with LenDale "Hit the Buffet" White as my third). Your receivers are maybe a little suspect, but are people (Driver) capable of having good years. I love Cooley. He's one of those guys who never gets taken early, but he can play TE and some RB so he has potential to have a good game so he's a late-round steal. Philly isn't a bad defense either. UW72 0 Posted August 31, 2007 how did you get Addai at 10? He usually goes not later than 7. QB is great IMO, you have the QBs 6 and 7 on my list, nice to play matchups here. As stated by the others depth at RB is a problem. Maroney comes back from an injury and your backups are also not 100%. Is there a chance to pack Driver (injured right now) together with Dunn to get someone like DeAngelo Williams or Tatum Bell?
bauman88 0 Posted August 31, 2007 I couldn't believe that Addai fell to 10, that was lucky. 1st round was LT Sjax Alexander Gore LJ Manning Rudi Willie Parker Westbrook Addai We do get .5 pts per reception, maybe thats why?
nowell 0 Posted August 31, 2007 I agree with everyone else your RB depth is por but overall solid team.
PTAKBuCS 0 Posted August 31, 2007 This team is stacked I think! Nice job. Your RB3 is dicey, but you'll only be spot starting them on bye weeks. Your WR spot is deep. I like Braylon and Jackson to have bust-out years. You can probably deal one for a better RB3 during the season. For a 10-team league this is pretty nice. Good Luck! ppierce 2 Posted August 31, 2007 great team. how'd you land Addai at 10?
oneinchgroups@100yds 0 Posted August 31, 2007 Nice... Getting Addai at 10 is awesome (as you saw, I took him at 1.04). Great starting rbs, but lack of depth could come back to haunt you. Injuries or bye weeks could leave you short unless Dunn steps up. Wrs are great and I noticed that you have to start 3 of them so that will help you immensely. You should win alot of games. Matt Foley 0 Posted August 31, 2007 I'm in line with pretty much everyone else; a little more RB depth, and you're set to have a great season. Perhaps you can make a trade for that depth using one of your WR's.
Super Cubs 154 Posted August 31, 2007 Your starts look solid but bye weeks and injuries could hurt.
2Dumb2Live 0 Posted August 31, 2007 Very solid team...love the WR depth...solid RBs...good depth at QB...nice job! see mine..http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=283139
Apollyon 0 Posted August 31, 2007 Great draft for that slot! If McNabb stays healthy you should have a very nice season!
waliguy 0 Posted August 31, 2007 very very solid. I can't believe Addai went at 10. Dunn may suprise. mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=283199
WhiteWonder 2,738 Posted August 31, 2007 .5 ppr you shuld have grabbed Bush at 2.1 instead of Maroney... but nice team
loki993 0 Posted August 31, 2007 yeah looks good to me. addai should be a horse this year, wish I had him, you probally already know that.
potts17 4 Posted September 4, 2007 The only worry I see with your team is your rb situation, 2 starters that have never had to carry the full load for a whole NFL season. Otherwise you look good.
maqs31 0 Posted September 4, 2007 Nothing new to add. Looks good. Nice work w/ the 10th pick. Who do you think will be gone from 2-5 picks for my draft? Why would you think that I have a chance to get Gore, LJ, or Alexander? I probably will have a chance at Addai, but don't like him that high.
chugabrewski 0 Posted September 4, 2007 Very solid team...love the WR depth...solid RBs...good depth at QB...nice job!see mine..http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=283139 Trade Dunn & WR for upgrade RB and you're good
Resident A-hole 0 Posted September 4, 2007 Your starters are great, but your RB depth is horrendous (especially in a 10-teamer). I would not be able to sleep at night w/ only Dunn & Morency on my bench. I'd trade S Holmes for a RB3 while he is still a popular sexy pick. If he has 2 catches for 30yds week 1, the luster will be gone in owners' eyes.

daverigs 0 Posted September 6, 2007 I like Addai, but am not big on the rest of your RB, esp. Maroney. I do not trust your QBs either. McNabb hasn't played a full season in a long time and relying on Jon Kitna is a scary thought. He could post good numbers in that system, but don't forget - we are talking about the Lions, a team who has not won a playoff game in over 50 years. Kitna is the definition of boom or bust.
