futurecub07 1 Posted August 28, 2006 overall i would say that your team is very solid. your WR's are good, but i dont feel that bryant is the best option for your third WR. if there is any good WR available then pick one up Please See Mine
STEELERMAN 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I would say overall a solid team. Ch. Taylor will have to perform to the hype as your #2 RB. St. Smith is a stud and the other positions are good. See mine.....
dpcoke 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I think its very solid even Mike anderson may be a good pick I'm sure you got him late

veebs4 2 Posted August 28, 2006 IMO, I think this team is very solid, and your WR have great upside. With great upside comes potential for less consistency, but it should work out for you. I am sure there is an owner that will need a starting RB at some point, so hopefully your RB depth can help you deal for a WR if Bryant/Clayton/Edwards doesn't work for you. .My 12-team results from the 9 spot with identical starting lineup requirements. schraj2 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I think your team is pretty solid. Others have commented about Taylor as your RB, but I think you will be fine with the Lewis/Anderson combo if Chester doesn't perform. The only other weak area is your #3 WR. Not sure what you can do, but I would try to upgrade if possible. Please see my post.
HawkeyeFootball 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Being a Vikings fan I have not been impressed with Chester so far. But it is only preseason. He may catch a lot of passes out of the backfield. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=225416

darock 0 Posted August 28, 2006 well i am hoping that jamal can have a couple of good games to start the season that hopefully i could trade him before he gets hurt again and still have anderson. and believe it or not, the guy who had the 12th pick in our draft took reggie bush with the 1st pick (2.01) in the 2nd round. I know he has been going a little high but that seems like a major stretch to me.
templeheels 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Overall good team. I get a little nervous starting a QB and WR from the same team, but at least yours are both good.
mmeds1228 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Team looks good, the only potential issue I see right now is you might lack some depth at RB and your third WR is suspect. Other than Smith and Johnson, those others are questions marks although you should be ok since you have a bunch of potential players. I don't think Jamal Lewis will last the season and if Mike Anderson doesn't win that number 2 spot (which he isn't as of now), you'll be left short if one of your top two RBs goes down (or is on a bye). Longshot, but could happen. If you can, I'd think about picking up Musa Smith if you have room. Just to solidify your backup for Jamal Lewis. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=225425
thannay 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Yeah very solid for a 12 team draft. It will be interesting to see how the Balitmore RB situation pans out. Everyone overhyped Lewis last year and he faltered. This year he is healthy and underhyped so maybe he will have a good season. At the very least he and Mike Anderson will get some TD's. WR is looking pretty good, though I agree that Bryant may not be the best option. There are always receivers that come out of nowhere to have a solid season so see if anyone has a good start in the first two weeks to maybe solidify that area. Your team is looking really good though.

Your team is looking really good though. Thannay said exactly what I was thinking. Especially about receivers. One guy dropped Donald Driver two or three years ago early in the season, and I snatched him up right away. Saved my entire season. Just keep your eye on the WW and see who stands out. Other than that, very solid team, especially if Jamal Lewis turns it around. Good luck with your season. Now, how about checking mine?
mrgymrat 0 Posted August 29, 2006 I think you came out really well.... Nice team. Yes, your WR's could use some upgrading after Smith but you have a great nucleus. If Edwards or Clayton don't work out then at least you're only looking for one waiver wire pickup. Should be able to find somebody. You're looking good. ---- Thanks for already answering mine
