Harrison for Stallworth...Worth it?

Recommended Posts

My team is listed in my sig.

I have McNabb and the guy with Stallworth has P. Manning. He is not in my division. I was wondering if it would benefit me to swap receivers with him. A couple years ago I had Culpepper and Moss and rode them all year. I like the thought of double pts for the McNabb to Stallworth yds/TD's. I know Harrison will come around but how much? Stallworth seems like McNabb's favorite already and with Westbrook possibly going down he may get more.

My only concern is what I'm hearing about Stallworth's hammy. How bad is it? He's probable so it's not a question of him starting, just his effectiveness. Is this something I should be concerned about? Eagles don't have a bye week til wk 9.

Does this sound like something I should do?

Thanks for all replies.

Manning is going to be a stud this year without any running game. It is by sheer bad luck that Harrison hasn't done more. I wouldn't do it. Stallworth has played well so far, but has always been incosistent. He goes on a hot streak and then disappears for weeks at a time, ala. Plax. If you are strongly considering this trade, try to get him to bait you with more.

I put a counter trade on mine...let me know what you think of it....

You're kidding, right?

Maybe for John Stallworth... why don't I ever get people who want to trade me LT for Wali Lundy, or Carson Palmer for Jeff Aaron Brooks???

I have Stallworth and Peyton in a league and to tell you the truth, Stallworth still scres me from his earlier days. Very inconsistent (injuries and Brooks to blame) but also capable of lighting the scoreboard up. I would never, ever give up a proven stud in Harrison for him though. I had Harrison fo a couple of years, and he always showed me that with a little patience, he will make you glad you kept him.
