skittles 0 Posted September 30, 2006 So I've been staring at this huge problem coming up in week 6, when I play a huge divisional matchup, and will be without my top 2 WRs, Reggie Wayne and Donald Driver. I've been considering getting rid of one of them, for a nice price, to save myself the headache in this must win week. My roster, first: C. Palmer T. Jones C. Taylor R. Wayne D. Driver C. Chambers T. Heap A. Vinatieri Eagles DST Bench R. Grossman R. Bush M. Morris R. Doughns Mi. Clayton M. Jenkins M. Stover So the deal I've recently been proposed, which works for me, cause I've been thinking of moving Bush while his stock is still high. I'm a bit worried about him, with the Saints winning games. I just don't like the idea of someone sharing so much time and trying to get into my starting lineup. Anyway, the deal: Houshmandzadah, C. Williams, Deangello Williams for R. Wayne, R. Bush, M. Morris This fixes up my bye week problems, and gets me what I think will be a great 2nd half RB in Caddy, and a huge sleeper (still) in Deangello. Let me hear your thoughts on this potential deal, and I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that I like the Palmer-Houshy hookup.
dalie 2 Posted September 30, 2006 At this point I like the trade I like Housh...and Caddy could still bounce back - we will see how the QB thing works there - and I think Williams will come in strong at the end. Morris is only a band aid or a RBBC at best and Bush has not be spectacular since week 1 Plus the trade gets you covered for week 6. EDIT Thanks for mine, but I was asking about Sea and SD defenses NOT Chi and Balt offense. Mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=239249

You have time to work out your bye week problem. Bush could become a monster in that time and your trade will end up being very bad.
dantheman 0 Posted September 30, 2006 you got a great team.. dont trade for sake of one week of bye problems
sdc90291 0 Posted September 30, 2006 agree with the last 2 posts - you're lessening your team for 9 weeks, to be better for 1. Don't do it! Carnell Williams is NOT going to have a good year with that line and QB, Wayne is better than Houjimujo, and sure Deangelo will eventually get the start, but who knows?! Keep your team, work the waiver wire, and see what other trades you can get going.
gmeyers01 0 Posted September 30, 2006 You have a solid team, and I wouldn't worry too much about one week. That being said Housh. Cady and Deangelo for Wayne, Bush and Morris. Housh is a slight downgrade frowm Watne, but Cady is better than Bush, and Deangelo has a shot at the starting job, while Mo Mo is just keeping the spot warm for Alexander. throttlers 0 Posted September 30, 2006 I like your thinking, but I'd try and work a deal for a better RB than Caddy. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...p;#entry2740783
cooldawg16 0 Posted September 30, 2006 i would do it....it works out for u very well.....housh will get u points...and cadillac will bounce back.... here's mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=239309
Counterfit 0 Posted September 30, 2006 I'm reletively low on Bush and I still think this is a stinker, Bush has more value to most of the teams in hour league, dont forget that. Thanks for replying to mine.
SaintsInDome2006 441 Posted September 30, 2006 Keep Wayne over Housh; Caddy's facing a season with an imploding Bucs team, things could get ugly there. Bush's upside will grow, you will want him on your team.
bauman88 0 Posted September 30, 2006 I'd do it. You'd be better off. TB will lean on Caddy now that simms is out. D. Williams will be starting by week 8 Housh is on a high powered offense just like Wayne see me http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...=238499&hl=
