dalie 2 Posted November 1, 2006 Is Welker/Addai enough to land Westbrook and his injury issues? Or would I have to give a one of my other top WR's for him (team in my sig.)...if so would he worth it? Help me and I'll help you
NickSac 1 Posted November 1, 2006 As a Westbrook owner, I wouldn't take that deal and he's my #2. His bye couldn't come at a better time.
beefcurtain 1 Posted November 1, 2006 I own Wbrook and Addai. Even with Westrbrook's knee problems, I wouldnt take that trade unless I was desperate for a WR. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=249605
Illini4evr 0 Posted November 1, 2006 I'm sorry but that isn't even really a trade. In our league Westy is the number 3 RB overall (109 points) following LT and LJ. People want to still keep complaining about Westy's injury problems but he's only missed one game and the fact that he usually takes half the snaps as top running backs and produces just as much only means that he is just that good. I'm afraid your trade offer would have to be revised since Addai at this point has only produced 52 points in our league.
Cjt727 0 Posted November 1, 2006 As a Westbrook owner all season, I can saw that I've been pleased with his performance all year long. He's only missed one game from the swelling, and that was over a month ago. His knee has improved and even with the injury he's still doing great. I'm probably gonna be the only one saying this....but as long as you've got another RB to back him up I'd go for it.
ramblin'wreck 0 Posted November 1, 2006 You will need to include at least DJax instead of Welker for the deal to possibly happen. Even that the other guys may not be happy enough.. worth to try though. Help me please.. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=249692
gold_finger 0 Posted November 1, 2006 I wouldn't take Westbrook for Addai and Welker, you have to add a better WR for me to consider it.
Underbruin 0 Posted November 1, 2006 Your WR depth is pretty solid (if you're sitting Roy Williams and Darrell Jackson you've got good depth at the position), and Westbrook is a top-5 RB. You can offer it, but expect it to be declined. I think you can get away with giving one of your better RBs and/or better WRs to get him (you have NINE backs listed, I think you can find something... I mean, honestly, I might see if he'll go SA for Westbrook straight up - even with SA's possible better production, the two extra weeks of Westbrook would absolutely be worth it IMHO). Fearsome 22 Posted November 1, 2006 Thanks for your patience...yes I went nuts last night. We went to about 50 houses and then came home and had around 400 trick or treaters up until 10:00!!! What are these parents thinking... Anyway...here you go...That would not be enough for me to give up Westy. With your amazing depth (9 RB's!!!) I would give a upper tier guy like Brown, Taylor or Green along with the other two in a 3-for-1. But with so many guys at that position, why do you need another RB? Just go with what you have.
