AIR it OUT 1 Posted November 20, 2006 Now that I've lost the franchise to run the show I must pick someone up off the WW . Who would be better: J.Harrington, C.Pennington, B.Favre, J.Kitna or maybe big Ben, any suggestions or ranking of these prospects would be greatly appreciated by the way the scoring system is 1pt per 20 yrds and 6pts. per touch, -2 per int
westskins 0 Posted November 20, 2006 pennington, like you i'm sinking faster than a rock. My choices are Garrard,Harrington,Losman,Garcia. I'm screwed. Good luck, guess i'll be riding my backup/starter "air" McNair.

nosferatu9368 0 Posted November 20, 2006 Assuming Favre is healthy enough to play hes always a good pickup. Ben could also be a good pickup now as the Steelers are trying to get back into the playoff race. Kitna also should throw more now depending on KJ's injury. Guess i'd say 1. Ben 2. Kitna 3. FaRVe Good Luck Peace...
AIR it OUT 1 Posted November 21, 2006 thanks for insight, right now I'm leaning towards Favre(no longer have to worry about them giving Rodgers a chance at the end) as long as he is healthy. I have a feeling this could be a hyped up game not only because of Holmgrem but it could be Favre's last Monday night game. Thoughts............ Second choice Im looking at Big Ben. He's been decent except for int.s scoring is 1 pt per 10 yards -2 for int.s

dhartin 0 Posted November 23, 2006 I would play it by matchup if I were you. I'd go with Pennington this week against Houston seeing that Losman just shredded them. From there just play the most favorable matchups. Favre plays the Jets next week whose secondary has been suspect. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=255493
kevinh1919 0 Posted November 23, 2006 Pennington, if you're looking for a one-week sleeper...otherwise, I'd go with either Ben or Kitna (Kitna has the better schedule in upcoming weeks)...
Son of Squirrel 0 Posted November 23, 2006 Ben does have the better skills than Kitna. FWP keeps the D honest. Rest of sked better for Ben than Kitna. Go Big Ben. thanks for mine
enricopulazzo 0 Posted November 23, 2006 Ben, Favre then Kitna. Pennington's arm is a noodle and Joey...well he just scares me.

bunnerjk 0 Posted November 24, 2006 Ben, Favre then Kitna. Pennington's arm is a noodle and Joey...well he just scares me. Thats the same order I would pick.
drmidd 2 Posted November 24, 2006 I guess I would take Favre. Kitna is ahead of him in my leagues scoring but its mainly due to Favre getting hurt last week.
Kelvarr 13 Posted November 24, 2006 I feel your pain...I am in the same predicament, but the best QB's in my WW are Frye and Losman. 1. Favre 2. Kitna 3. Roethlisberger 4. Harrington 5. Pennington See Mine
bauman88 0 Posted November 24, 2006 Favre is the best option, Kitna throws too many picks. The others are less like than Favre to ever get 300 yards and 3 tds thanks,
BLT 0 Posted November 24, 2006 Pennington to Jerricho like JP to Evans is the 1 wk fix. Favre or Kitna for the long hall.
nmesaga 0 Posted November 24, 2006 pennington then harrison then farve..
chris27 0 Posted November 25, 2006 Farve for when he get's better. Then KItna reluctantly, since he gets sacked every other play and is a guarantee to have at least 1 interception. Then I would go Pennington then Harrison. Thanks for mine.
AIR it OUT 1 Posted November 26, 2006 Well I ended up with Big Ben because the team that is behind me in the divison stole Favre to play keep away from me ,oh well Ben has been a scoring machine anways in our league. But I was sitting here looking at schedules and thinking of getting a backup , What about Brooks or Campbell?
Underbruin 0 Posted November 26, 2006 Neither of them are very good. Are all the other aforementioned QBs you talked about earlier gone? Any of them would probably be a better pickup than Campbell or Brooks. Brooks has a nicer fantasy schedule (after SD this week he gets HOU, CIN, STL, KC), though, and if he can somehow form some sort of a connection with Randy Moss he might, -might- be a serviceable backup. mrgymrat 0 Posted November 26, 2006 1. Favre2. Kitna 3. Roethlisberger 4. Harrington 5. Pennington This looks right but it looks like you took Big Ben. No backup? Think about picking up Cutler... maybe he will be the next Romo??? Not likely but Denver has some weapons, they just need a gunslinger and like Rod Woodson said "He won at Vanderbilt!" which says alot about his talent.
