Dol-Fan 0 Posted November 22, 2006 I thought that Andre Johnson was the no brainer here, but I've been thinking about things. Roy will playing inside, at home, with no Kevin Jones to help carry the load. Miami's D has been playing well, but they do play Man Defense. Andre will be in New York, outside, also a solid defense. Is my original Sig right?....or should I make the change? Thanks...leave your link
Kam187 6 Posted November 22, 2006 Personally Roy Williams is a must start. I think he at least gets one td on Thanksgiving if not two. I dontt trust David Carr on the road. The Jets played Chicago tough and I expect them to do the same against Houston and Andre. I would go Williams personally. Good luck. Please see mine. I got a WR dilemma as well. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=255393

SirJiggabins 0 Posted November 22, 2006 Detroit will be throwing all day. Williams is a better start here.
celloshane 0 Posted November 22, 2006 I honestly expect Detroit's offense to crumple like a paper beer cup on Sunday. Does that mean Roy will have a bad game? No, but he won't have a breakout game either. Williams is a good enough player to pull decent stats out of a losing game. Go ahead and play him, it won't hurt you, just don't be suprised when he gets about the same points as Johnson does. vjjjc 0 Posted November 22, 2006 I'd have to go w/ Roy as well... His is due... turkey day prime time and all... He'll be up for this game http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=255420
Gelucy44 0 Posted November 22, 2006 Yeah Roy is a big time player and thanksgiving is a big time game. I think he will light it up. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=255417
Dol-Fan 0 Posted November 23, 2006 Yeah Roy is a big time player and thanksgiving is a big time game. I think he will light it up. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=255417 Here is part 2 of my problem for you guys: If I choose Roy, I have to set it up tonight. My alternate thoughts on Andre Johnson was that since he doesn't play until Sunday, I might find out about Colston. If I know he's not playing, then I would probably start Devery Henderson. If Colston does play, I just start Johnson....make sense? Am I just over thinking this or what?
DEEZNUTS 18 Posted November 23, 2006 Tough choice. Good arguments for both. I'd go with Johnson. Reasoning: Detroit with backup RB. Key to stopping them will be pass defense. Roy Williams might see double team all day.
Dol-Fan 0 Posted November 23, 2006 Tough choice. Good arguments for both. I'd go with Johnson. Reasoning: Detroit with backup RB. Key to stopping them will be pass defense. Roy Williams might see double team all day. Exactly. Plus, I heard today that the Jets are one of the worst run stopping teams in the NFL. The Texans and Lundy have been running it well. I would assume that would give Andre Johnson some one-on-one oppurtunities.
bunnerjk 0 Posted November 23, 2006 Close call, but I give ROY a slight edge since he will be playing indoors. I don't see much scoring in the Hou. vs. Jets game. Thanks for mine!!!!
HIW 0 Posted November 23, 2006 Go with Roy Williams for sure......that way you get to enjoy the turkey and Roy's TDs tomorrow. see mine: Def Question
