Not real excited about either, but that's my choice.

 

Vick

PROS: Must win situation, usually has to run for more points, prime time TV Saturday night, usually better at home, Dallas pass defense was just crushed by NO

CONS: Boom or bust player, hurt by both RB's being banged up, horrible WR's

 

Big Ben

PROS: Has been playing pretty well recently, Carolina's pass defense is banged up, Hines Ward is back, more consistent than Vick

CONS: Panther defense is still pretty good, not as high an upside as Vick

I think if you can take the boom or bust I'd go Vick.

 

Ben is safer

i'd have to agree.

 

if you need that extra push to get you the win and are coming from behind, i'd probably go with Vick. If you just need some consistent points and can rely on the rest of your team for the REAL points, then go with Ben. I guess if you're somewhere in between, that's where it's hard.

 

i have a feeling a lot of points will be scored in Atlanta and Vick is saying he's gotta throw to win, so if you're in between, i'd have to give the edge to Vick.

I like Big Ben- CAR is vulnerable vs pass- but good vs run-- FWP hasnt run for over 100 yrds on the rd-- so i say Big B

Depends on your matchup. If you need a ton of points to win (Playing LT plus some other studs) go Vick.

If you thiunk you have the upper hand I'd go Ben.

 

If it was me I'd go for broke= VICK.

If you penalize ints, and reward qbs nicely for running yards I would go with Vick.

 

He may have to do everything this week which means a lot of yards, while Ben struggles on the road with int, since Parker cant run on the road.

 

If you dont pennalize ints, and reward good for ground yardage, then I would say Ben.

Vick. You will get running points and throwing. I think he will have a big game v. Dallas. Ben doesn't move well, so he will be pressured by CAR front four and blitzes

I'm really not a bog fan of either of these 2 QBs, but you can make a good case for starting either of them this week. Vick/Falcons need the win, (but Dallas will be hungry to redeem themselves for last week's loss to the Saints). Big Ben is going against a soft pass DEF, (CAR allowed 20 TDs and 11 INTs), but a strong rush DEF, (only 6 TDs allowed) so he will likely be airing it out a bit more than usual. Both QBs are just as capable of a great week as they are of having a real stinker...

 

My gut says to go with Big Ben

Go with Ben. I don't think Vick will do well against a good Dallas Def. ATL has no running game right now.
