*** '07 Player Projections By NFL Team ***

Recommended Posts

To prepare FFTodayers for the upcoming ’07 season, starting 5/14 will post threads listing offensive players by NFL team and invite posters to attach projections to each offensive player.

Posting of just commentary on one or mutliple players, instead of projections is welcomed and encouraged as well.

Will post 3 team threads per week (2 during 4th of July week) alphabetically by team city, so will have all 32 NFL teams posted before August 1st.

Through beginning of FF season will hopefully have this thread pinned as an ‘Archives’ thread, so will have opportunity to post replies for any previous team at any time.

Notes:

QB JLosman: 4th year, 2nd year as starter

RB MLynch: Rookie expected to step into starting role and be FF productive

WR LEvans: 4th year, ‘broke out’ last year

Key Questions For '07 Season:

Will QB JLosman progress in 2nd year as starter?

How will RB MLynch produce? How will he be used?

Will RB AThomas contribute significantly? How?

Is Lee Evans the most critical player in the NFL?

This is Losman's 3rd year as starter. He lost the job a few games into his 2nd year, so it wasnt a full season, but neither was last year really his first as QB1.

I am inclined to think that Buffalo had one of the 2-3 best drafts in the league this year. In spite of the flack over a certain safety, who shall remain Dante Whitner, Last year was not bad either: 4 starters on defense plus John McCargo. Add in Losman and Evans and there is a core of young talent worth notice. If Rosco Parrish, 3rd year WR, breaks out it would be a really nice surprise.

Buffalo is in for an ugly season. They put together a nice run against some struggling teams like GB, HOU & MIA (at the tail end of the season).

This is a rebuilding team going for youth and character. I think they will want to establish a rushing attack as the focus of the O, but when the team struggles to move the ball & opponents take advantage of a weak secondary/LB unit.........garbage time receiving yds are in this team's future.

Losman 3250 yds 21 TD & 17 INT

Merryl Lynch is projecting a bearish year 852 yds & 5 TD with 22 receptions for 154 yds (welcome to the NFL kid)

Mr. Evans 89 receptions for 1433 yds & 11 TD

Reedmeister 49 receptions for 598 yds & 3 TD

Price 37 receptions for 296 yds & 1 TD

Roscoe P Coltraine Parrish will be a streaky motha with 2 games over 100 yds & a cloud of dust the rest of the season 26 receptions for 369 yds & 3 long TDs

TE is a non factor
