nocarbs 0 Posted November 15, 2007 I am 8-2 and on my way to the playoffs. my runningbacks are Westbrook, Gore, Jacobs and Grant. we start only 2 rb my qb's are Big Ben and Rivers. we start only 1 qb. I have been offered Derick Anderson straight up for Ryan Grant. I will never play Grant, but each of my rbs have miss at least one game this season with an injury. I always believe depth at rb. However, if Big ben goes down.....Rivers! not very good. Should I make this trade?
throttlers 0 Posted November 15, 2007 I would probably do it. As you said, you will never play Grant. Anderson is a huge upgrade from Rivers right now. mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=302109
Fearsome 22 Posted November 15, 2007 I would do it as well...Can you package Rivers for one of his back-up RBs and make it a 2-for-2 deal? Having three QBs is no good and dealing Rivers stright up might be tough. Thanks for mine.
Beef Ravioli 0 Posted November 15, 2007 Not much to add, but at this point in the season, I think you will be ok at RB and need to strengthen your QB slot. I would make the move. Thanks for mine
ff07 2 Posted November 15, 2007 I'd do it, but i agree you should see if you could get a lesser RB as well in case one of your RBs go down, you could play the matchups. thanks for mine
Cubs07 0 Posted November 15, 2007 Who get injured first BIG Ben or Westy??
bighp2002 0 Posted November 15, 2007 QB as any player is only 1 hit away from your entire season going down to the toilet.. If BIG Ben goes down...your done....Do the deal.... Thx for answering mine..
zachy35 0 Posted November 15, 2007 I would go with the trade just because Rivers is terrible + Anderson is having a very good year, and like you said Grant you will probably never use.
wino 1 Posted November 15, 2007 Agree with consensus. Make the trade...You can always package up Anderson to someone else to improve your WR corps.
bugzy 1 Posted November 15, 2007 Derek Anderson = Payton Manning at this point in the season, so it seems like a good deal. There is no guarantee on Grant either - who knows how long he'll start for. On the other hand, given how inconsistent Gore has been, its nice to have Grant as an option in case West or Jacobs go out. In the end I guess I'm more worried about Ben - he seems to be getting pretty banged up. Do it.
