Keep watching the news etc... & maybe Coles will start, as he is the only true choice here.

But if he sits, & you can't hit the FA market, I'd go with Patten.

Its for my #3 wr spot in a 12 teamer, I have Owens and Galloway and need a 3rd out of those 3. Nothing on the ww (my other 2 wrs are Engram and Mark Clayton).

 

Heres my possible starters(took a hit on WRs):

 

Romo

Gore-Turner (MJD-Jacobs on the bench)

Owens-Galloway-???? (Coles-Patten-Gaffney)

Gates

Folk

If Coles plays, you gotta start him... if not, go with Patten in a potential shootout against TB.

I'd love to start coles in this one, ....... if he plays. Thats a big if. obviously, you'd love him to play as considerable amount and not be limited.

 

I'd watch re-game to get updates and start coles if things are favorable.

 

If not, i'd go with Gaffney.

 

I think the Patriots will have a harder time this year going Moss- welker-moss for the TD.

 

I think they will have to have a more balanced offense and spread the ball more. Gaffney could be a suprise this year.

Play Coles. He's a starter and I think will benefit a lot from having Favre. Everything I have seen says he should be fine for the game injury wise. He's a tough player if he's out there I think he won't be too limited.

Patten isn't even worth a roster spot and definitely not worth playing against Tampa Bay, one of the best pass defenses in the league.

 

Grab Meachem--or even better for this week: DeSean Jackson, or Courtney Taylor, or Royal on Denver, or Tedd Ginn. There's some free agents out there better than Patten...he'll almost certainly lose his place to Meachem sooner than later and probably won't do anything in the meantime.

 

If Coles is starting, play him. Regardless, drop Patten for someone else.
