Bigunreal1 0 Posted September 3, 2008 PPR, need to pick one of the following; Evans vs. Sea Crayton vs. Cle Hines Ward vs. Hou will help those who leave link thanks in advance Thanks for helping me. I think I would go with Evans. Crayton will be probably no better than the 4th option for Dallas (T.O., Witten and Barber), so it would have to a real shootout for him to come up big. Not sure how big a role Ward will have in Pittsburgh's offense this season. Evans should be the clear cut #1 receiving option for Buffalo, so I'd go with him. dtskds 0 Posted September 3, 2008 I am going to have to agree, I think that Evans would be your best bet. From there it would be H. Ward and then Crayton. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=321570
dpbuddha 9 Posted September 3, 2008 I agree with the above posters...I'd go with Lee Evans as he is the main target and if you're in a PPR league I think he'll be your best bet. Thanks for mine earlier.
ssharpe12 0 Posted September 5, 2008 bump heres what I'm currently thinking..... Evans: probably the best talent here, but facing the toughest D plus he's incosistant Ward: old. facing a defense that should give up points. Will Pit just run the ball to kill he clock once they get ahead to see what they have with the rookie? Crayton: similar to ward except younger. additionally, I have Heath Miller playing as well and my opponent has Roethlistberger starting anyone else who would like to weigh in is certainly welcome
bpork 0 Posted September 5, 2008 i'd go with evans ward is fluky because he'll probably get end zone looks but you can expect like around 50 yds a game from him On Dallas, crayton will have his good games, but he's like option 4 on that offense? probably another 50 yard guy I'm expecting evans to be inconsistent, but should end up with a good end of year total
rottytiny 7 Posted September 6, 2008 I like Evans. He can score everytime he touches it.
CrazyStanley 0 Posted September 6, 2008 I think i would go with Crayton with Evans a close 2nd. TO will be doubled and so i think Witten and Crayton will have nice games, 1 TD between them and both over 80 yards, closer to 100. Cle wont let TO beat them this week. please see mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=322175
BJW34 0 Posted September 6, 2008 Evans but that offense did not look good in preseason. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=322161
ssharpe12 0 Posted September 6, 2008 This is very interesting. I had Evans last year and his inconsistency was mind numbing. I actualy drafted him by accident. intended to take someone else. lol People were killing him last year on this board. another offseason goes by and the majority of people are supporting him again. I guess thats why i'm so indecisive about this. lol
bgibjr 0 Posted September 6, 2008 This is definitely a toughie, I would probably end up going w/the best talent week 1 with the whole don't bench the studs early theory and go with Evans. Thanks for mine and good luck.
Middawg 0 Posted September 6, 2008 I like Ward a ton this week. I think this Pitt Hou matchup will be a barnburner with some huge stats. Your crazy to think Pitt will run away with this one. Same could be said for Dal and Cle as well but I dont think Crayton will get the love that the others will. Week 1 is about being on Sportcenter right off the bat and Crayton is not the name or face of the Boys. TO, Barber, Witten, and Romo will steal the show. LandenChase 0 Posted September 6, 2008 Ward. I actually think Crayton will have a slightly better week than Evans. I would go with Ward this week!
