Lesman 1 Posted October 8, 2009 Just can't make up my mind on this one. I already have Addai. Both backs are in similar timeshares. Bradshaw is on a better rushing team, but Brown gets more redzone opps. I think Bradshaw could be huge if Jacobs got hurt, but the same could be said for Brown and Addai is just as injury prone as Jacobs.
Texansfan 0 Posted October 8, 2009 Since you have Addai I would definitely grab Brown. If Addai goes down (and he usually does), then you are stuck with no starting back at all! Plus, Brown seems to be getting GL carries, which Bradshaw will never get from Jacobs. See mine!
rottytiny 7 Posted October 8, 2009 Normally I wouldn't BUT since you have Addai I would cover him by having Brown. Brown is more valuable to your team then Bradshaw is at this point. IF Jacobs would go down Bradshaw would be huge but if not and addai goes down your in trouble. You don't have anyone else you could drop? mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=353085
McNabb5 0 Posted October 8, 2009 In my opinion, as an addai owner you need to grab brown. But I also really like Bradshaw. I would look at the rest of my roster to see who I can drop for Brown and keep Bradshaw. but if you really had to make a decision on brown or bradshaw, I would stick with bradshaw. He is a very good. And Jacobs is has a history of injury. And if thats the case, Bradshaw would be a monster. Its a tough call though. check mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=353063
Lesman 1 Posted October 8, 2009 See my sig for my roster. I have to drop a RB. It would be either Bradshaw or Rice, and I don't want to drop Rice. Addai is a situation starter. I've been rotating between him & Jackson depending on matchups. Ya, I know its a tough call, keep em coming...
McNabb5 0 Posted October 8, 2009 If its gotta be an rb, then hold off. But I see a couple of guys you can drop. Like Orton or Anderson, Caldwell, Avery. you have Rivers so after this week, you wont really need orton or anderson. I dont see a light at the end of the tunnel for Avery. ampheels 3 Posted October 8, 2009 i would probably do it... bradshaw is not overtaking jacobs any time soon and his ceiling is much lower unless injury occurs.. brown can outright take the position from addai at somepoint , as long as having 2 colts rb' doesn't effect bye weeks gaps i would do it also look to cut some of that fat off your WR roster and pick up some guys with higher upside Massaqoui for example
Boston_Diablo 0 Posted October 8, 2009 I would hold off. At this junction both offer close to the same, but talking as a Giants fan, Bradshaw will not get the red zone chances. Even if Jacobs goes down, he will be the guy between the 20s but not necessarily the main option close up. Thanks for your input.
RaidersFan18 0 Posted October 8, 2009 I wouldn't do it. Bradshaw has proved to be NY's better and more productive back over the first quarter of the season. They have a better running team, and if/when Jacobs goes down, I think he'll be a monster. But I'm also a Bradshaw owner. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=353192

Like Orton or Anderson, Caldwell, Avery. you have Rivers so after this week, you wont really need orton or anderson. I dont see a light at the end of the tunnel for Avery. I think it is a toss up on who will be the better between Bradshaw or Brown. Brown may be the better choice for your since you have Addai, but I really like Bradshaw even with Jacobs around. Bradshaw is the leading rusher on the Giants, and he catches a lot of balls out of the backfield which Jacobs does not do. Only problem is that Jacobs will always get the nod on the goalline. However, if Jacobs goes down......watch out!!! Also, Bradshaw is more like a co-starter, and Brown is more of a backup at this point in the season. I think it would be a better idea to drop one of the guys mentioned above than to drop Bradshaw
Lesman 1 Posted October 8, 2009 If I could drop anyone else, I would not even be posting here. I can only have 5 RBs, so I have to drop Bradshaw if I want Brown.
himmystyles 30 Posted October 8, 2009 Ya i would grab Brown... i been using him at the flex recently and while his yardage wont scare anyone, hes usually good for a TD. Bradshaw is good, but seems injury prone. Thanks for answering mine
whitey2876 0 Posted October 9, 2009 Thanks for mine! If you never plan on starting Bradshaw unless Jacobs get injured and you want a handcuff then i would say grab Brown. It's really a toss up! Has Addai ever played 16 games? I don't think so, so then Brown is at least a handcuff for that. But Bradshaw could go off if Jacobs ever can't go. Crap shoot! I think I would hold off, but if you don't react now and really want Brown then you ahve to let Bradshaw go. Good Luck!
fostersfutbol 1 Posted October 9, 2009 Definitely Brown I think for 2 reasons: First you have handcuff for Addai, and second - if Eli is out or injured, I think defenses are more likely to focus on the run against NYG, AND they are less likely to be way up and racking up running yards late in games.
