My toughest lineup calls yet - Need 1RB, 2 WRs + Flex (leave a link and I'll see yours)

Recommended Posts

Playoffs are here, and I've got some tough calls for my RB2, WR2&3 & Flex with some middling players, but all with great matchups.

I have to pick 1 RB, 2 WRs and 1 Flex (non-PPR) out of the following:

Vereen, J. Stewart, Latavius Murray

VJax, Colston, Moncrief, or I can pick up and play ether Stedman Bailey, Charles Johnson or Nate Washington.

WRs: All except for VJax have great matchups. VJax has killed me with 2-3 point weeks. It's hard to trust Colston with lower targets, but the matchup is good. Expecting 3 straight weeks with a TD is probably too much to ask out of him. Moncrief has the biggest upside (especially facing the Browns crappy CB3 while Haden is locked onto Hilton this week), but he also has a scary low floor. Bailey or Johnson might be one of the the best options here...

RBs: Stewart has been getting a lot of love in the rankings this week against a swiss cheese Saints Run D, but I'm cautious as I worry that the Saint will jump out to a lead and Carolina will abandon the run early.

Vereen = what have you done for me lately? It does seem like it is his turn to put in a solid game, though.

Murray = Huge upside, but tough matchup. Coach claims that he will not be a workhorse, but this somehow feels like a weak attempt at "coachspeak & misdirection"

Who do you go with and why? Leave a link and I'll look at yours. Thanks!

Stewart by 40% over Vereen; by 55% over Murray (non recpt league). Stewart by 10% over Vereen; by 65% over Murray (ppr league)

Bailey by 10% over Colston; by 20% over Johnson; by 30% over Moncrief; by 50% over Jackson (non ppr)

Bailey by 10% over Colston; by 20% over Johnson; by 30% over Jackson; by 40% over Moncrief (ppr)

My take on this would be Stewart @ RB; Bailey and Colston @ WR; Johnson @ Flex

I don't like any of your RBs... 2 got injury problems. But I go with Stewart who seems to be ok 3RB of late... NO D been suspect all yr.

2RB Stewart

2WR Colston

3WR

Don't like VJax vs that D, Moncrief actually might be a sneaky good play and Bailey well he might be a sneaky good play too maybe less sneaky due to blow out last week.

I'd roll with those 2... VJax his been basically 2WR ff wise and inconsistent or non-existent in the endzone. When rolling with risky WRs I like to pick two if no viable flex RB is there and hope one or both score big.

3WR Bailey

Flex Moncrief (Defacto 3WR but plenty of mouths to feed with Dwayne back.)

RB- Pretty easy call here for me, I'm going Stewart. All the touches + easy matchup.

2 WR- Tough call. It pains me to say but I'd go VJax, although he's probably burned you a ton this year. I'd also go with Nate Washington actually. All of the other WRs aren't a lock for even 5 points and Washington has the biggest upside. TEN only has 3 WRs going today so he should get a ton of looks plus he's a downfield threat.

Flex- I'm going Latavious Murray. Tough matchup for sure but believe it or not I think he has the highest floor with guaranteed touches. And, obviously, he has the highest ceiling as well.

thanks for mine
