Brooklyn1106 1 Posted November 5, 2015 Someone dropped Bortles going into his Bye and matchup @ NYJ. I have Big Ben too, basically already solidified a playoff spot if not top-2 finish. Saeapp 4 Posted November 5, 2015 since they're your backup, 2 factors come into play here, in my opinion... 1. If Ben were to go down again, who would you prefer? 2. Bens bye is week 11, check out the match ups. Stafford as Oak and Bortles has Ten. Oak can be scored upon through the air, as can Ten, but Ten secondary better. So really, in my opinion, it comes down to which one do you like better. I think I'd hold onto Stafford knowing that his future in DET is in jeopardy so he either needs to show them a reason to keep him and 'interviewing' for his next job.
