I followed his instructions and hit the ball 300 yards. The golf pro says, "Excellent!" My wife takes her turn. She hits the ball 30 yards. The golf pro says, "Not bad, but try holding the club like you hold your husband's ." She swings and the ball goes 10 yards. The golf pro says, "Not bad, now try taking the club out of your mouth."

Newsom resisted some pretty heavy pressure to select Barbara Lee. She’s in a 3 way race with Adam Schiff and Katie Porter for the seat, and running behind them. If Newsom had appointed Lee it would have made her the favorite I think. Now she’s out of it and I suspect that the race will come down to Schiff vs Porter. I’ve liked Schiff for a long time but he’s certainly a controversial character and pretty much hated by Republicans. Porter is less well known nationally but she’s done a lot of good things for my neck of the woods. Give me Porter.

I hope not. I'd hate to think of the ramifications would be if Russia has come up with sufficient firepower to take out an Abrahms. One of the advantages we like to think that the US has over Russia and China is their equipment sucks balls and wouldn't stand a chance against ours. They've had 40 years to think about it and ISIS figured out how to destroy them, so they aren't so perfect as we'd like to believe. Hopefully the Abrams cut through the Russians like tin foil.

well, hes not out of the woods yet. I'm on my way home now. My hope is I can watch the second half of this game. It would be a nice story to see that this kid has stepped up his game at the best possible time against KC. the whole David and Goliath story is a good one. Either way, he was likely too young to write off. he may or may not be a player in the future but he was a top prospect on his draft day for a reason. people obviously felt he had traits that would one day make him a good pro. sadly hes in an organization that seems to have very little faith in him, and thats too bad. you have a young player like this, that player needs support to grow and I question whether he is getting the support he needs. at least the coach is defending him somewhat when the media is roasting him. but I think the kid deserves better.
