I think, Darnold; if he plays will do better than Dobbs and Mullens did overall last year or Jaren Hall. Gotta look to see the stats, maybe a bit. They lost a few close games last year. Also, the refs were pretty awful vs the Chiefs for them. A few other games I can't remember everything; I think I saw a few other questionable calls helping the opposing teams. They could have easily made the playoffs; if Cousins and Jefferson didn't get injured, and had more consistent overall QB/Offensive Lineman play. Dobbs and Mullens did pretty good; but not amazing every game. The year before last they were not too bad; had the biggest NFL comeback in history and the week after that was the best game I think; I ever saw on TV in my life vs the Bills. Also, vs the Bills; Justin Jefferson made the best catch I think I have ever seen also from Kirk Cousins on a 4th down with 1 hand. Playoffs was disappointing vs the Giants.

Joshua Dobbs signed with 49ers. So, Vikings got Sam Darnold, Nick Mullens and Jaren Hall, I think. I am guessing they trade up to #3 or #5 in the draft to find a rookie QB worthy to compete as immediate starter or take a QB, maybe in the 3rd round instead.
-
The fact that Darnold got paid about 6 million more than expected; that could motivate him to prove his worth more, I would think also. It is a one year deal, so I think he should be extra motivated to try and prove he still belongs in the NFL. Definitely, thinking also that Vikings bring in another QB via trade/in the draft, type of scenario. A lot of being a QB is about how well the team is blocking and if players can get open for the catch from the QB; I wouldn't write Darnold completely off yet, but maybe I should watch more film.

Oh, I see you are talking about Kenny Pickett, I think. I understand what you mean now.
-
Why sell them for less than you paid? Wouldn't you want to hang on to them and see how the upcoming season goes?
-
I think, the Cousins signing helped Bijan Robinson the most. Cousins is good at play action passing; so teams are gonna have to respect the throw a bit more than Ridder/Heincke etc.; most likely. Tyler Allgeier is pretty good too. Cordarrelle Patterson can make some splash plays here and there too; one of the best kick returners of all time, but tougher with the newer rules. "Flash" aka Patterson is very good at catching; he played WR in college. Falcons also got Darnell Mooney, Van Jefferson I think, and Mack Hollins are all not that bad at WR.

I think, you all are underestimating the Vikings a bit. I believe, they have they #11 pick in the draft. So, they for sure have some firepower to find a new QB. They also picked up 2 good defense players from the Texans and 1 from the Dolphins.

Trade: Broncos Send Jerry Jeudy to Cleveland
RareN64Dream replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
I think, this makes Amari Cooper a bigger fantasy choice for numbers. Juedy can help clear some coverage for Cooper to pop off like he did near the end of the season with Flacco etc. -
Interesting how I predicted a Juedy trade. But it was to another AFC North team, the Browns haha
-
That would be kind of crazy if Steelers got Russell Wilson, QB, and Jerry Juedy, WR. Allen Robinson, WR, got released, I think from Steelers.
-
You should possibly bump your other posts, so people comment more.
-
I think, with a whole off-season to heal up and stuff; he will only get better. He has taken a lot of shots to the head from defensive players in the past. Seems like a tough dude.

I remember back around 2009 or 2008. I spent like $62 dollars of my $100 FA money on Cassel. But, I sent the e-mail to the wrong person; back when the FA set up wasn't handled purely by technology. I ended up still winning the championship in that league though haha

Who won the boxing match between Adrian Peterson and Bell? Did that ever happen? Did Bell or AP look ready for a comeback for football?? I think, teams are shying away from AP; due to his 2 incidents of abuse. He obviously is still pretty good, I would guess; and runs hard. But is he worth a roster spot over a younger player?
-
DeVonta Smith and Amari Cooper are two that kind of remind me of each other. They have some random huge games; and otherwise their stats are like around 50th overall for WRs or so. That big game Cooper had near the end of the season could be a sign he somehow becomes top 5 WR next year? I know the Browns didn't exactly have the same QB the whole season. Someone told me DeVonta is too old; after I was willing to trade him and some other players and I was like, "He is only age 24" at that timing??
-
I think, AJ Brown and Nico Collins are pretty close to top 5. Could also see Davante Adams and Jaylen Waddle possibly being top 5 in fantasy for WRs too. Maybe, DK Metcalf, George Pickens.
-
I could see Stefon Diggs having a bounce back season. Is Mike Evans close to top 5?
-
Yeah, I know. Just was basically saying he could have helped, possibly.
-
I am guessing not having Trevon Diggs doesn't help. But, I didn't watch the game. I wonder how Micah Parsons did or how much he got double team "blocked".
-
I think, if Addison could have or does finish real strong; he could have been on that list possibly. But, I would say probably LaPorta 1st, then CJ Stroud QB, Puka, WR for Rams got like 1,400 yards and over 100 catches, and then I guess Jahmyr Gibbs, and then Bijan Robinson, and Addison; almost tied because Addison got 9 TD, same as Gibbs. De'Von Archane and Zay Flowers did pretty well also. I might be forgetting some other players too.
-
Anyone have advice on some flyer players I could, maybe pick for a "Dream Team"? Some players with; a strong match up in their favor kind of thing, like a sleeper back up that will be in the game a lot. Due to players, like these that will be sitting. I could see possibly Julio Jones having 2 good weeks in a row, is sort of an example; I would say. Thanks

Looking Ahead to Redrafts 2024: First Four Rounds
RareN64Dream replied to Fumbleweed's topic in FFToday Board
Stefon Diggs might get picked in first 4 rounds. -
Drafting Bryce Young; instead of a RB like Mostert kind of screwed over 2 of my teams somewhat. But, I understand what you mean. Those are 2 QB start leagues, I should also mention.
-
I could see Heincke QB for Falcons having a big game randomly; but he could also get sacked a lot too.
-
I would probably pick Washington for fantasy over Agnew. But, pretty much just a guess. Isn't Agnew more of a kick return guy?
