Flex - Pittman or Wayne(haven't decided yet)

I will be releasing RB Avion Cason and WR Jabar Gaffney to make room for Ramsey/Taylor.

I understand that I have the right to trade. With that in mind, am I the only one that foresees problems in the future with future draft pick trades? The team most likely to win, is the team willing to trade away any chances of fielding a competitive team the following year.

cyric, need a 'confirmation' post from shinebox.

 

proteus...there's merit to your concern but i personally will not sacrifice too much for the following year just to improve my chances this year.

 

those that do will have it that harder next year and this is ff...anything can happen even if you have the 'percieved' best team.

The key is that most in this league are long time posters, so we assume people wont go for it one year and then just quit. There is always that chance however, so we will just have to fart in their general direction.

I just brought this up cause I didn't see anything in the rules stopping someone from giving up their top 5 rounds and then we'd have a dead team next year. But I doubt we'd have this problem.

I initially had the same concern as Proteus, but I've seen the same kind of thing in my dynasty league, where someone will sell out to win. On the flip side, teams slipping have the tendency and temptation to sell off in order to build a monster team for the following year.

 

I also agree with Nan. I personally won't be sacrificing too much next year for a better chance this year.
