At least your honest steve, i can handle that.  I am pretty much a **** myself.

Horn sucks. I made a bad pick. I don't get mad at critiquing of my team. I will get mad if you try to tell me you know what other people are thinking and then say it in a condescending way.

By the way, anyone thinking about moving up in this round?

No we do not have to put it on hold but I can tell you I will be leaving the office on Friday at noon and will not be around a computer again until Monday afternoon. I am going camping with my family. So if you get to me just know I will not be picking until Monday afternoon sometime. Paul will be gone from Saturday afternnon until Monday night. So know I don't have to stop it but it will stop itself!

And to defend my picks for boredoms sake...

Holmes - if healthy is the best around. And even though he's almost 30, he only started really playing 3 years ago....less mileage. If he bounces back has at least a few years left.

Garner - old as dirt but will be a decent #2 this year with 1 pt per rec, even losing goalline touches. As for next year...who cares...RB's come and go. I can snag a young stud in the rook draft next year. 2004 crop is supposed to be the bomb.

BTW - backs taken after Garner...

Davis - equally as old and more fragile

Dillon - Decent back but doesnt catch too many out of the backfield

Cmart - just as old & loses goalline too

Barlow - young, may still split time...not a great #2 option

George - last legs

Trung - too unproven...doesnt have job locked up decent #3 option

Zeroue - Bettis is still there

A Train - Yeah right...he wasnt any good in the first place

I'll stick with Garner.

Ward....Plax is excellent but Ward is the man in Pit. He gets more looks and plus all the red zone looks. Burress gets the deep ones.

Price....risky pick but teams cant double team Price for fear of Vick running the ball. Will leaves him open quite a bit.

Even Finneran who STINKS managed 900yds & 6 tds last year. I think Price is a hell of a lot better than Finneran.

Toomer...Giants stunk it up the first 7 games last season. Toomer scored only 1 TD the first half but put up good rec #'s. Check out how Toomer did after Fassel took over play calling. 58-800-7 in 9 games.

Shockey will open things up even more and allow Toomer to get open for the long ball.

My #3 WR has 78-1100-7 TD AVG over the last 4 years. I'll take it.

In general I agree with you:

Holmes will be back. I think he loves being doubted and uses it as motivation.

Garner is old but still has some solid production in him.

Ward would be the one I disagree with the most. Kordell looked only at him and when Maddox was throwing the ball the production swung to Plax. I think Plax will have a huge year (top 5). Ward will still put up solid numbers and is a good WR.

Toomer is not flashy but very consistent. You can mark done 1000-1200 and 6-8 td, and he never gets hurt. Nice pice at that spot.

Price is a gamble, boom or bust?? Big free agent WR do not have a good history however.

Yeah 2 TE's this early would be pretty foolish. i would love to see that topic on the main board. That would make Moz's Hambrick thread look like a walk in the park!

Dead serious, my intention was to grab them both then either use one as the flex or as trade bait. Now I am not so sure as to what to do.

Sorry for the hold up I'll pick within the next few minutes.

I like Todd Heap.

Do you think you would give him one of the players to took in rounds 1-3? I don't think so, so you windup with the same value.

I hope it's not the same guy I have been wanting to snag -- I have had him pegged for round 5 the last 3 months ! Which is a major reason why I drafted all those RB's.

Any comments about the trade itself? (Moz this isn't where you say it took too long.)
