I was totally happy when Hass threw a TD pass to Jackson then I look and you have Jackson too. Dick! Looks like I'll need a big game from my RBs. I was so close to picking up Minter off the WW last week, but took Shawn Springs instead. It's not like i would of played him if i got him anyways. I could of said "Zap, your going to crush me this week!" What fun would that have been? Get my drift? O well, i learned some valuable things this season and hope to capitalize on them next year. Being the 1st time using IDP's and finishing (hopefully) in the top 3 is quite an accomplishment for me. I underestimated the the depth of IDP's, thinking i had to have top notch stars. Won't make that mistake (along w/some others) next yerar. Congradualtions and good luck next week! Anyway, in Squidfingers league I finished 5th with my really bad draft and got waxed yesterday in that consolation bracket (like ours). In the family league my high scoring juggernaut got smeared like queers by Priest and Manning in the Semi Final. I have also been rooting on one of my nephews teams because I helped him all through his draft and felt kind of prideful that he was 2nd in scoring only to my team. It was supposed to be primarily a rebuilding year as I picked up guys like McGahee, Fargas, Suggs (I already had Green and frafted White as a backup), Calico, Hollings, and Boldin. Unfortunately when the end of the season came around I was #1 in wins and in points so instead of grabbing the rest of my future guys with a week to go I kept any guy I had who might be useful in the playoffs. Well I lost in the playoffs anyway, and am not so confident in any of the guys I hung on to most of the season for next year, particularly McGahee, Hollings, and Fargas' prospects are not looking good like I'd hoped. I specifically missed out on Pinner and K. Washington much to my chagrin. wall Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I thought my chance to get Edge was past after Edge and Brooks both finished strong. I just felt Green was not going to help me this year and was likely to not win his starting job back next year so I had other guys that would be better keepers. I hated to do it, but I just didn't see any other guys I wanted to cut to sign a kicker. In retrospect, I can think of several guys I wish I'd cut instead (Ike Hilliard!!)
