What do you guys make of the line mvmt on Penn St? I am now seeing -14.5 from -16.

I am seeing more action on Purdue on the other boards, but haven't seen any compelling arguments.

I upgraded Hawaii to 3 units, for my 5th 3 unit game today.

 

I like the game anyway, and the last couple of times that I upgraded Hawaii games late, they won, so I am going to the well again. It's probably gonna rain during the game, but whacky things happen when Hawaii is a home dog.

I have'nt played a game all day. I was out earlier and never got any plays in and the late games I'm all on. I'm only going to make one play and I'll join ya with the Rainbows. I don't know jack sheit about either team but if your throwing 3 units on it then I'll join you for sheits and grins . I'm playing with house $$ anyways. Have'nt even looked at tomorrows games yet. I just had no feel on the games today so figured I'd lay low. GL everyone.

I would not be surprised if Stanford wins the game as the UCLA bubble bursts. I also wonder is UCLA is already starting to look ahead to their game vs USC.

A final comment on this one, fwiw. This Bruin team is very aware of how fortunate it has been. No way are they looking forward to USC. Regardless of the outcome, UCLA is very very focused on Stanford and Stanford alone. UCLA is not arrogant or over-confident in their achievements so far this season. They are a humble team working very hard on their shortcomings, yet playing to their strengths at a very high level. They'll hit Stanford Stadium high as can be and ready for a war. If Stanford ends the undefeated season, so be it, but it won't be because UCLA was looking ahead, or wasn't prepared. It will be because UCLA just isn't as good as the record suggests.

Nice call. Stanford should have won that game, but your wager was safe for al four quarters. See what I mean about the UCLA offense? I think I described these team pretty closely, but UCLA was flat (so you had that right) and Stanford's D was better than expected. Glad UCLA won. Glad you hit the 3 unit play.

I've been sort of just treading water lately, winning or losing just a few units every week. I guess that if my "down weeks," which these last 2 or so appear to be, only involve me breaking even or winning a unit or two or losing a unit or two, that's a pretty good thing. My "down weeks" could be me giving back all my winnings to the man so I guess I'm thankful that's not happening

 

But I feel like I'm due for another 70% week sooner or later, I'd like a 5+ unit winning week this week, that's my goal!

 

On the bright(er) side, my 2-unit plays are still hitting at a good clip, I'll be happy if they stay over 70% for the season!

I just wanted to vent for a minute. Overall, you get lucky on a few games, or unlucky on a few games, when you bet a lot of games. It's a long season. I went 3-2 on the 3 unit games. It's still a profit. The two losses were really hard to stomach.

 

Hawaii, in the red zone seemingly all game without really cashing in their chances, is down by 7 with 2 minutes to go. Hawaii is catching about +12.5. Fresno, trying to simply run out the clock, busts an 80 yard run for a TD for a fluke cover. Horrible loss.

 

Navy, +7, cuts the Rutgers lead to 24-21 in the fourth quarter. Rutgers drives down to about the Navy 20 with 5 minutes to go, 3rd and 9, and get the freaking conversion. And they punch it in for a TD and front door cover.

 

Throw in the BC game on Thursday, among others, and the bad luck was overflowing this week. Got lucky with Penn St, and Stanford almost blew their game, but it could have been a much better week.

Call me Captain Chicken Shiz for not posting my plays. I went 3-1 this weekend winning with Texas 2nd half, Florida and the Chicago Bears. Losing on the Texas 1st half.

 

This is no BS. I started the season w/ $500 in my Bodog account plus a 20% reload bonus so I had $600 to play with... Right now I am at $499 in my account. So for the year I am down 1 dollar!

I've got a bunch of 13 point teasers this week. All of them include TEN-1 over South Carolina. No way in the world South Carolina pulls off that upset. Not even Spurrier can do that with the lowely Gamec0cks.

 

I also like Michigan St -5 over Indiana.... Indiana sucks pretty bad. Michigan St. should win by 30+ at home. A few others I'm using include FSU-4 over Maryland and Wake Forest-1 over Duke....

 

Powerhouse teams versus bottom dwellers. I've been VERY succesful doing this all year with 13 point teasers.

 

My big-teaser winning streak was bound to come to an end eventually. I took a huge hit this week. All because TEN couldn't frikin beat lowely South Carolina. I heard that prior to this week, South Carolina had NEVER beaten Tennessee in Tennessee. Even late in the 4th quarter, I still didn't think they could actually pull it off.
