Niners_fan 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Need to know if hes going to play or not which is going to be a challenge to determine for all of us. Pats have become even worse with injury updates since Atlanta screwed them over with Vick info. Also I'm in the process of trading Culpepper/Branch for Dillon/Bryant. I have Brunell, Big Ben, and Leftwich and that guy needs sub for Bulger. I lost Deuce (Westbrook other rb) and have been trying to fill void with Denver rbbc and thats too risky. All info will be greatly appreciated.

zr3441 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Here is the CBSSportsline report on Dillon: Corey Dillon, RB NE News: The Boston Globe reports Patriots RB Corey Dillon should be back on the field in Week 8 vs. Buffalo. Analysis: Dillon is a marvelous start for owners against a pretty crooked Bills run defense. Don't hesitate to use him. Good Luck
HawgWild 0 Posted October 26, 2005 I found this on Profootballweekly.com: A now-healthy Corey Dillon will look to make a splash against a Bills defense that hasn’t even come close to resembling last year’s unit. Buffalo has allowed 159 rushing yards a game this year at a 5.1-yard average. I have him on one team and he is in my lineup unless I see something to change my mind... Niners_fan 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Thanks guys. I've been thinking Dillon is going to play most of the game b/c hes had 3 weeks to recover including this week. Hopefully he'll be in there and get a lot of action. I'm happy to finally be getting rid of scrubpepper and fill my rb spot vacated by deuce.
Thornton Melon 548 Posted October 26, 2005 From Rotoworld: Corey Dillon wasn't present at the media-available portion of Patriots practice Wednesday. Don't drop Patrick Pass just yet. With the Patriots playing on Sunday night, Dillon and/or Pass will be dicey plays this week unless you own them both. Dillon probably needs to practice to start. Thornton Melon 548 Posted October 26, 2005 Also, from Boston Globe: Reiss blog Quite a curious response here: How are you feeling physically? “Company line –- I’m going to get back as soon as possible. Niners_fan 0 Posted October 26, 2005 I think the 85% is Moose's opinion which I agree with or something in that range. Belicheck has been pissed off about reporting injuries since Atlanta screwed them over with Vick and has gotten even worse with his reporting. Also, Dillon doesn't like the media and will not speak to them all again this season so him missing the media portion of practice should not surprise anyone. Judging by everything I can get my hands on he will play.

I don't know if that means anything, but I do know it's not good that he didn't practice.

ricanrockers 39 Posted October 27, 2005 10/26 20:06 Patriots: Dillon misses part of practice THE NEWS Patriots running back Corey Dillon was unable to participate in the team portion of Wednesday's practice because of the ankle injury he suffered in week five. The injury kept him out of action in week six. Our View Bill Bellichick is notoriously tight lipped about injuries, so don't expect him to give any more information about Dillon than he has to. Patrick Pass will get another start if Dillon can't suit up. www.fanball.com
