Thin Spirit 0 Posted March 12, 2006 As long as this isn't for big money it is a nice pick up for the Browns, as Romeo can plug him right in the middle of the 3-4 like he did with the Pats. Ted is now 2-3 years older than he was with the Pats and has to becoming close to the end of his career...until the terms are released I'd say it's up in the air if this is a good signing or not. Portis26 0 Posted March 12, 2006 Browns are making moves!!! Since the Seahawks moved to the NFC, the Browns have been my team to root for in the AFC. I'd Love to see Lavar sign with them!

Thin Spirit 0 Posted March 12, 2006 3.5 a year? That's alot for a 38 year old DT who isn't even a 3-down lineman. Not a good move.
kraziness 0 Posted March 13, 2006 3.5 a year? That's alot for a 38 year old DT who isn't even a 3-down lineman. Not a good move. It's a short term fix, and for cheaper than what it'll probably cost for the DT from Balt. He'll be a step up from Fisk, and help tutor the young NT's the Browns already have on the roster. Also, if Ngata falls to 12, Washington will (again) provide that same turoring, but also, good depth... assuming Ngata isn't there, they'll need someone, and Washington is about as good as anyone out there
