FlyEaglesFly 0 Posted May 1, 2006 sorry...but i hope things go not so well for perry...his presence scares me..hopefully rudi will be getting all the touches! Rudi can't catch...he is a power runner so even if Perry is out, the Bengals will replace him with another 3rd down back. For fantasy purposes, Rudi is a great #2 RB but he wil rarely be on the field on third downs unless they only need a yard or two.....
Trainer1 0 Posted May 1, 2006 Didn't Rudi just have a similar procedure this offseason? Yes, This proceedure is nothing. Perry will be running again in 3 weeks at the most. Last week SEA J. Stevens had the same surgery.
RLLD 4,230 Posted May 1, 2006 I cannot really get into being happy that the guy is hurt and unable to play. But it is certainly pertinent that Rudi will likely avoid the dreaded RBBC.

For fantasy purposes, Rudi is a great #2 RB but he wil rarely be on the field on third downs unless they only need a yard or two..... you're wrong, rudi is definitely a first round back. the guy has put up 1400 yards and 12 tds two years in a row. regardless of his 3rd down duty, you won't find consistent double-digit TDs in the 2nd round. he's in a great offense too. i see him as one of the few backs that could score 20 times. easily 16-18. if you wait till the 2nd, you find rudi there.
