t.j 35 Posted May 3, 2006 RBs are always the hot topic, but one QB can make or break your team. List your top 30 QBs, based on the following scoring system. Keep in mind this is dynasty, not just for this year. 6 points per TD 1 point per 20 passing yards, 1 point per 10 rushing yards -2 per INT, -2 per fumble The way I'll score it is 30pts for your #1 QB down to 1pt for your #30 QB. If you only rank say 20 QBs I'll count 20pts for your #1 QB down to 1pt for your #20 QB. Here's mine: 1. Peyton Manning (breaking records every year) 2. Tom Brady (reliable) 3. Carson Palmer (as long as his knee recovers) 4. Eli Manning (making strides, plenty of targets) 5. Ben Roethlisberger (carried Pitt to the Super Bowl) 6. Donovan McNabb (back to the pre-TO days) 7. Matt Hasselbeck (no Hutch = more passing?) 8. Byron Leftwich (JSmith and 4 good young targets) 9. Daunte Culpepper (no comment) 10. Marc Bulger (productive but fragile) 11. Mike Vick (see Bulger) 12. Jake Delhomme (top 5-10 this year) 13. Drew Brees (not many targets outside of Bush and aging Horn) 14. David Carr (pass blocking still a question mark) 15. Vince Young (Chow/Fisher) 16. Jay Cutler (great match with Shanahan) 17. Matt Leinart (a Warner injury away) 18. Drew Bledsoe (top 5-10 this year) 19. Philip Rivers (sleeper?) 20. Charlie Frye (good opportunity if he beats out Dilfer) 21. Kellen Clemens (probably starting by '07) 22. Rex Grossman (getting into the risky guys) 23. Trent Green (1 year left? 2?) 24. Alex Smith (big Vernon helps) 25. Aaron Brooks (feed the WRs) 26. Jake Plummer (4 years left on his deal, but has to perform) 27. Chris Simms (good: Gruden, bad: Rattay, Gradkowski) 28. Matt Schaub (not a Falcon beyond 2007) 29. Kurt Warner (holds off Leinart until he gets hurt) 30. Brodie Croyle (although Gonzo might not outlast Green)

ERIC-THE-RED 0 Posted May 3, 2006 1-P.MANNING 2-C.PALMER 3-T.BRADY 4-E.MANNING 5-D.McNABB 6-M.BULGER 7-J.DELHOMME 8-M.VICK (micheal) 9-M.HASSLEBACK 10-B.ROETHLISBERGER these are my top 10. culpeper is not in because of a new team and bum knee. favre is slowly getting worse. McNABB and bulger are high because of the style of offence ( alot of passing).
t.j 35 Posted May 3, 2006 I'm a lot more interested in 11-30 than the top 10 so please make the extra effort if you can. And keep in mind that this is for dynasty, not redraft. I think you can make a good case for Campbell and a bunch of other guys over Croyle (especially with KC's future WRs/TEs an unknown), but I think Campbell has too many question marks to go any higher than that. He has to prove himself to Gibbs before FF players can count on him.
Darb33 0 Posted May 3, 2006 It's pretty early but I will try to fly through this quickly: 1)Peyton Manning 2)Carson Palmer 3)Eli Manning 4)Tom Brady 5)Donovan McNabb 6)Matt Hasselbeck 7)Jake Delhomme 8)Ben Roethlisberger 9)Byron Leftwich 10)Daunte Culpepper 11)Marc Bulger 12)David Carr 13)Drew Brees 14)Trent Green 15)Mike Vick 16)Jake Plummer 17)Aaron Brooks 18)Matt Leinart 19)Mark Brunell 20)Josh McCown 21)Matt Schaub 22)David Gerard 23)Jay Cutler 24)Chris Simms 25)Chad Pennington 26)Drew Bledsoe 27)Brad Johnson 28)Billy Volek 29)Charlie Frye 30)JP Losman Sorry if I forgot a name, i did this pretty fast. It doesn't look too bad though I don't think. Edit- I see I forgot Phillip Rivers, Aaron Rodgers and Alex Smith. All should probably go in the 20's somewhere. I might have missed Favre as well, but since he is basically on a 1 year deal, I don't know if he even belongs in the top 30.

jdon 28 Posted May 4, 2006 1. Peyton manning - no edge, more passing tds 2. Carson Palmer - I actually think their tough schedule will demand more passing out of him 3. Jake Delhomme 4. Hasselback - they play noone, plus the addition of burleson 30 tds and 3500 yards should be easy 5. Vick - I see good numbers for him this year 6. Bulger 7. Eli - could go higher but I don't know if he is ready just yet. 8. Bledsoe 9. The combo of Warner/Leinart 10. Simms 11. Culpepper 12. Lions QBs - Kitna could be good, believe it. 13. McNabb - I hate mcnabb 14. Roethlisberger 15. brees 16. Leftwhich
