Meat eaters: Do you ever think about it? Texas Ranch House

I've been watching Texas Ranch House on PBS ... it might as well be "Survivor", but there is a garden, there are livestock. They decided to kill a chicken ... and I know, you get over it ... and killing becomes easy. It's even easier when you don't hafta kill anything to eat meat.

 

So, I know everyone is talking about oil right now ... but do you take full advantage of the death you are a party to? You would ... if you had to raise them, and kill them yourself.

Hey ... I eat meat ... almost daily. But .... I'm thinking about it. Still not killing my own steer ... but making the best of what I receive.

Shouldn't this be "weep over all the live plants that are left after you kill some to make salads." As if he was weeping on them to show his sorrow for killing their brethren?

Not sure. There seems to be an internal logic problem.
