Give me one good reason to hate the Yankees? Hating the Yankees just shows your inferiority complex, like most other Red Sox fans. I don't hate the Yankees and I would not have booed Johnny Damon. I am however glad he's 0 for against the sox. Of course, I hate the Yankees. I hate Steinbrenner. I hate their fans. I hate the Bronx. I hated Reggie Jackson, Billy Martin, Catfish Hunter, and many others. I hate Jason Giambi (not just because he is a Yank, but because he is a cheater that was never punished). I hate the entity that is the Yankees because I am a Red Sox fan. That does not mean that I don't respect and appreciate the abilities of many of the modern day Yankee players (Jeter, for example). There is a difference between hating a non-human entity (the Yankees) and hating individuals (Jeter, Torre, Rivera, et al). But let me boil it down this way as to why someone can very easily hate the Yankees - they have the best team that money can buy. As far as booing, I am not a big fan of it. I don't personally do it. I think that the fans that boo'd Damon during his first at bat were stupid. I think that Yankee fans who boo Randy Johnson and A-Rod are stupid. p.man 7 Posted May 11, 2006 Damon got his 1st hit vs his old team tonight. It was for an rbi too. Yanks lead 7-3 in the bottom of the 7th. In other news...
