WASP Redneck from Canada here. Last year (Mid-May) I wound up in a Rap Bar looking for something to eat in Hells Kitchen at about 11 at night. Was a pretty good time. Never felt threaghtened at all

I've worked in restaraunts. Dishwasher, Bus boy, Delivery boy, pizza cook. It motivated me to strive for something better. It paid the bills at the time. It was a job.

 

My brother strived to become a chef at one time, as a matter of fact, he is really talented. Not to long ago he made this filet mignon with a port reduction and perfect, smooth mashed potatoes. And because I have worked with him in the kitchen, I kinda know my sh!t too. Not like him, but I can cook better than the people on this show. It's a sideshow. It's crap. Jumped the shark.

Awesome show, but already I can tell that last season was better. These non-chefs are totally clueless.
