onejayhawk 3 Posted June 20, 2006 Obviously there are some. Leinart is not a starter, but I expect someone will take him about round 6. Aaron rodgers in GB seems to have had a good spring. There are RB handcuffs, discussed in depth elsewhere. #3 WR's like Patrick Crayton. Who, other than the obvious, are worth a roster spot on the chance of injury or starter change? BostonRedSox 0 Posted June 20, 2006 the past couple of years i have drafted TJ Duckett...as a spot starter on bye weeks or fill in for injuries he usually gets an opportunity to run the ball in the red zone.
WhoDat 1 Posted June 20, 2006 in past years before he got moved to his new team, Sowell (RB) always did well in PPR league as a fill-in. Check it out... Sowell has mad "skilz" at receiving when he played for the Jets...
Electric Mayhem 35 Posted June 20, 2006 i don't thik anyone will draft Leinhart. Every FF team needs at least two starting QBs on their roster for bye weeks/injuries/generall suckiness etc. I don't think he is worth a roster spot at all, let alone in the 6th round. Heck, I don't even think I'll be drafting my starting QB until round 9 or 10.
NOSRAC247 0 Posted June 20, 2006 I wouldn't even worry about drafting Leinart or Rodgers, for that matter. You know neither of them will play, til say at last the midway point. You don't want to have them sitting on your bench when other things could arise like injuries. I don't even think they're worth a spot on the roster. Especially if there are 12 teams or less
Force of Two 0 Posted June 20, 2006 Benson unless your not counting him... I would take Leinert and store him (We have 18 roster spots in a 12 team league with a flexible roster) and hope towards the middle of the season that Warner goes down so I can ship him out or use him. Force of Two 0 Posted June 20, 2006 reggie bush? of course....but he will be the starter me thinks (I have no faith in Deuce)
Let Da Big Dog Eat 40 Posted June 20, 2006 Brandon Stokely, Kevin Curtis maybe. In deeper leagues, Mike Anderson.
Marion Barry 0 Posted June 20, 2006 Has to be Tatum Bell http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5zFFYxuMRM...ch=Tatum%20Bell
Erb047 0 Posted June 20, 2006 Michael Turner Lawrence Maroney
Parja 0 Posted June 20, 2006 Leinart in round 6? I wouldn't expect Warner to go until after round 6. Unless, of course, you're talking dynasty or keeper leagues.
hipcheck 0 Posted June 20, 2006 MOSS, SINORICE: WR, NYG,- Obviously we will know alot more in the preseason, but I think this kid has "it". Smart, tough, skilled, Fast & strong (esp. for his size). I think him and MANNING will click, he fills a huge need in an otherwise "Stacked" GIANT Offense this year.
gatorbait7391 0 Posted June 20, 2006 Brandon Stokely, Kevin Curtis maybe. In deeper leagues, Mike Anderson. I like those and Marooney.
mdubz 0 Posted June 20, 2006 maroney is tops on my list (besides bush obviously)
Vikings4ever 550 Posted June 20, 2006 DeAngelo Williams, Joseph Addai, Frank Gore (he hasn't been named the starter yet, has he?), Barber III, Gado, probably Priest.
onejayhawk 3 Posted June 21, 2006 Leaving rookies out, since they are a special case anyway, RB hand cuff's and starters in waiting top my list. Gado, Barber, Ryan Moats, whoever doesnt start in Denver. Curtis is the best name of other positions that I have seen listed. Craph Thorpe maybe. Maybe I'm wierd, but Losman might get a late rounder from me. J
Erb047 0 Posted June 21, 2006 Frank Gore (he hasn't been named the starter yet, has he?) Not yet. I am very high on him, but he is a BIG risk IMO. He's coming off surgeries on BOTH his shoulders this offseason, so take that into consideration, along with his injuries at Miami...
