Smizzy 0 Posted July 3, 2006 Who is the better keeper?
Kellys Heroes 0 Posted July 3, 2006 Boldin - in the coming years Lienhart will take over and Boldin and him will have that learning year that every qb has. Chambers will have Culpeppers and Hartington as qbs So it matters when you want to make your run. Boldin going to have that year where Lienhart has his learning curve or chambers will have more constient year to year totals. Since Chambers might be cheaper I would go w/ him. GobbleDog 1,012 Posted July 3, 2006 It took Chris Chambers 5 years to finally break 70 receptions and 1,000 yards. Anquan Boldin has already done it twice in 3 years. And he probably would have done it all 3, had he not gotten hurt 2 years ago. IMO - Chambers is the one of the most over-rated WRs in FF. "But he's never had a great QB!!!" Yeah, well neither has Boldin, Hines Ward, or CJ (until last year), etc... and they all seemed to reach 1,000 yards with no problems.
heavy-set 39 Posted July 3, 2006 boldin. plays in a crappier conference and division and on a bad team, which means lots of garbage time.

True, Chambers hasn't been a yardage monster but he's scored 30 TDs the last 3 years, compared to Boldin's 16. He was also the highest scoring receiver in the NFL over the second half of last year. Boldin's situation appears to have worsened and Chambers' has improved on the surface. Dynasty i'm not sure but I've got Chambers outscoring Boldin this year. Greedo 13 Posted July 3, 2006 As do I, devildog. He's the solid 1st WR option, whereas Boldin is, at best, 1b, if not the #2 option. In addition, there have been several other threads in which we've discussed Boldin's injuries. I'd take Chambers.

ellisonb11 0 Posted July 4, 2006 boldin no question IMO. chambers has alot of talent, but i just haver to give the edge to boldin as a more proven player.
doughboys_2002 11 Posted July 4, 2006 I like Chambers in the new offense. Culpepper just letting it rip and Chambers just catching the ball. There are too many decent recievers in AZ and they are going through a growing stage, so it will be atleast 2-3 years before Boldin MIGHT be worth more then Chambers....I would go with Chambers! dcholland1 0 Posted July 4, 2006 No question its Boldin. He had more balls thrown his way last year than any other reciever and he missed to games! Fitzgereld only helps because no double teams. James will make no difference, thier line sucks and so does their defense, they will be tossing it all year long!
