Thre3Deep 0 Posted August 14, 2006 Has a ton of talent but off field trouble seems to follow him, can we count on him to produce decent #s..500-700 yds..6-8 td's?..thats saying CP is back..or will his court dates affect his playing time?...
murf74 461 Posted August 14, 2006 You mean guilty or not guilty? Which court case would you like a verdict on?

He only got arrested 4 times this past off-season with not much disciplinary action from the bengals organization... I can't wait till next off-season to see what's in store
Thre3Deep 0 Posted August 14, 2006 shoot I just wanna justify keeping him on my roster ... he showed his talent with that great catch tonight..and I would sure hate to see it go to waste
throttlers 0 Posted August 14, 2006 waste of a roster spot
zhinz 0 Posted August 14, 2006 He's like their 6th WR according to the depth charts.
DBZFan2K 0 Posted August 14, 2006 He's a heck of a talent, but with his legal troubles I wouldn't be surprised if he faced some suspension time this season.
Bengalboy 0 Posted August 14, 2006 He is 6' 4 " lightning quick and scored more TD's than ANY rookie last year as the Bengals 3RD WR. He does have some legal issues that may get him suspended for the start of the season, however Sean Taylor of the Skins just had a fine from the NFL for a similar charge so Worth the roster spot if you ask me. Maybe even waiver wire materal.

SlipperyPete 0 Posted August 14, 2006 As a TJ Owner, I'm a little nervous about what this kid can do on the field.
RealDeal5781 0 Posted August 14, 2006 As a TJ Owner, I'm a little nervous about what this kid can do on the field. Believe me, I think the world of Chris Henry's talent (I believe he's got #1 WR capability). However, I don't see him overtaking TJ if TJ remains healthy. If it's not broke, don't fix it. TJ's a very solid possession and compliment receiver to Chad.
jagermeister 0 Posted August 14, 2006 In a redraft league, I'd watch him week-to-week on the waiver wire to see if he'll get any consistent playing time. If CJ or Housh goes down, I'll bet they look to him (provided he's not suspended) to start. Next to Chris Perry, he is their most explosve non-starter on offense but it's hard to justify a fantasy roster spot on a 15-man squad in a redraft league at this point unless you have room/need for a 4th or 5th WR. In a dynasty league, I think he's worth stashing away in a roster spot for a few years and hoping that he either steps up in Cincy or elsewhere. I have him on my IDP dynasty roster under a 3 year contract (39 roster spots), so I'm hopeful. Unfortunately, I don't think that most players with his type of track record really ever amount to what they are capable of achieving...
The Original Whizzinator 0 Posted August 14, 2006 I thought he was already suspended for the first four games for violating the substence abuse policy. No?
Q.Lazzarus 0 Posted August 14, 2006 Randy Moss Jr. He has that kind of talent. I'm not saying he's as good as Moss, but he has some serious talent. He could definitely be a #1 receiver on a different roster.
nicewolf64 0 Posted August 14, 2006 I'd say closer to Clarett Jr than Moss Jr. This kid needs to get under control before he totally wrecks his life.
shovelheadt 71 Posted August 14, 2006 I thought he was already suspended for the first four games for violating the substence abuse policy. No? Nope. You may be thinking of Odell Thurman. He's had 4 arrests, but only one was due to having weed on him. So he's probably in the league program. The other 3 were.... - having a stolen/unregistered gun down in Florida. He should count himself lucky if he escapes jail on this one. - DUI where he blew a .09. I think this one is still pending as well - Contributing to a minor in Kentucky. Pending as well I think. I read somewhere where one more transgression sets him up for a suspension, whether it's weed or just getting arrested. Sooooo, if he can avoid jail time...I could easily see him as the #3 just like last year. Fair or not, he's easily right there with TJ as far as 2a and 2b on that team.
