I think Shanny does not trust Tatum Bell for anything more than 7-15 carries per game. Bell has not proven he can produce or stay healthy when given a heavier load. Tatum is the obvious choice to be the Broncos #1 runner but so far, Shanny has decided to keep Tatum as change of pace back and see if Mike Bell can handle the load. If Shanny trusted Tatum, he would be the next Portis.

bell has not produced anything, even when he was "supposed" to.

 

 

rhodes has never got a great deal of playing time and who knows what he can really do.
