charlieturd 0 Posted August 28, 2006 QBs: Marc Bulger, Byron Leftwich, Phillip Rivers RBs: Ronnie Brown, Caddy Williams, Warrick Dunn, Chris Perry, Michael Turner WRs: Reggie Wayne, Roy Williams, Donald Driver, Reggie Brown, Kevin Curtis TE: Chris Cooley D/ST: Jacksonville K: Nate Kaeding What are your thoughts? I have one bench spot free right now b/c of trading draft picks....With that spot I was considering picking up: David Garrard, Michael Pittman, Wali Lundy, Vernand Morency, Derrick Blaylock, or Vincent Jackson. I was considering dropping Turner and grabbing both Houston backs....but I would also like to have Garrard and Pittman just to be safe. What do you guys think? Also....I was recently offered Reuben Droughns and Jake Plummer for Warrick Dunn and Byron Leftwich. Should I accept?
jizzatch 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I think it played out pretty nicely for you. You got two 1st rounders with Brown and Caddy. Looks like a well played draft. Your team looks solid. I'm impressed that you could get Wayne, Driver, and Roy Williams and also get Bulger and Cooley. As for who to pick up, I hear Morency might get some carries. I would add Jerious Norwood to your consideration. He is now the only real backup for Dunn and Atlanta, so he should see some carries. Please see mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=225508
gobuckeyes 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Very good team top to bottom. Unless you are starting 2 qbs I don't see a need to get garrard. Bulger should start over Leftwich and you have another starting QB as a backup. I would drop Turner for Morency or Pittman if you want the insurance policy on Williams, but there really arent any pressing needs on your team.
FBH ** 0 Posted August 28, 2006 That is a very nice draft for a 12 teamer. It looks like Lundy will be the starter until DDavis decides his knee doesn't hurt anymore, so I would look to pick him up for now, but keep your options open. I would not add Garrard, unnecessary depth at the QB. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=225574
charlieturd 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Anyone else? Should I pick up both Morency and Lundy? I could drop Turner and pick up both....
nos23 1 Posted August 28, 2006 your team looks pretty soild from top to bottom. I think i would hang on to turner, because if something was to happen to LT he would put up very nice numbers. see mine please
Super Cubs 154 Posted August 28, 2006 Your team looks ok. WRs could be a question. 12 teams with 17 players per team (you're showing 16 and say you have a extra spot) = 204 draft spots. I find it hard to believe that both Lundy and Morency are there and the Dom owner did not cuff.
gphil 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I am telling you as a Chicago-an, that if Adrian Peterson went undrafted, grab him now. Benson will be hurt all year off and on, and if T Jones gets hurt, A-pete is gonna go nuts. But this is overall a very hard question to answer because A.) Your team is fantastic and 2.) that's a lot of total picks for a draft. I draft Thursday in a 12 teamer, and if someone could guarantee me your team I'd pay double the entry fee. Great job. Just my opinion. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=225634
