Sinner 0 Posted August 31, 2006 Two teams in my dynasty league just completed this trade. We give .5 PPR. 2RB, 2WR, 1TE. The team giving up Edge also has LT2, Portis, Deuce and Rhodes at RB. At WR he has Holt, Porter, Galloway and McCardell. Would you consider this a fair trade or is Edge's value too much to give up for Stallworth?
adam smitty 0 Posted August 31, 2006 How the heck does he end up with all of those running backs? That is And no, there is no way that trade should be allowed to go through and I'm not one to say a trade isnt fair either.

That is And no, there is no way that trade should be allowed to go through and I'm not one to say a trade isnt fair either. He's one of the power house team in our DYNASTY league. I hate the trade that got him Portis, but the rest were legit. He drafted well and got players before they became studs. He also traded away LJ last year.... So you saying Edge is worth too much more than Stallworth?
adam smitty 0 Posted August 31, 2006 Yeah I am. Mad props to the guy getting all of those rbs, but its still pretty bizarre how he was able to do that. I think looking at the ADP of the two guys says enough, its like trading a late first/early 2nd for an 8th or 9th round pick straight up. It makes no sense, even if the team needs WR help. Sinner 0 Posted August 31, 2006 Like I said, he picked up LJ for virtually nothing and traded him last year. He's only won once in the last seven years, so the RB's haven't really helped. Anybody else have an opinion?
xxyyzz 0 Posted September 1, 2006 not a fair trade any way u look at it....maybe for a higher tier wr, like holt, chad, fitzy....definately not stallworth...
tbo11 0 Posted September 1, 2006 No, but why is he even considering the trade? Is he a friend of the other owner. FOLLOW THE MONEY...
Sinner 0 Posted September 1, 2006 I assume he thinks Stallworth will be the Eagles #1 guy and break out.... I wouldn't think there's collusion. I'm not questioning why the other guy would accept Edge, he's got WR depth. I just don't know if it's bad enough to complain and put up for veto.
SCT 0 Posted September 1, 2006 No way, but I guess if you have that many starting rbs, their expendable.
himmystyles 30 Posted September 1, 2006 thats gross. Looking at straight value, Stallworth doesn't come close to Edge. Maybe if he plays this year out in Philly, has 85 rec, 8TDs, and 1300 yrds then maybe its fair next year. see mine please: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=226970
bradhpa 0 Posted September 1, 2006 I agree. A top 12 RB, at worst. For a top 30 WR? Print this thread out and show it your commish.
brya31 0 Posted September 1, 2006 As commish of our league, I would not let that deal slide through
J-Money 4 Posted September 1, 2006 I'm a big advocate of letting people manage their own teams. Who's to say that edge will be the edge of old here in az? And why can't stallworth become an elite wr? I'm sure if he wanted some other wr he could get him, but he obviously has a hard on for stallworth...either that or there were no other takers for edge who he may have wanted to unload Let it go and be glad one of your powerhouses possibly just got weaker
