himmystyles 30 Posted September 1, 2006 Hey Guys, Squad is as follows: J Delhomme S McNair L Toefield M Bell S Jackson C Taylor F Taylor R Brown K Curtis T Glenn S Parker S Smith J Shockey S Janikowski R Droughns D Jaguars I currently have T Glenn as my #2 WR, which im comfortable with (Reggie Brown was there, but now hes been demoted). I was thinking about Solidifying the spot by trading for either Driver or Wayne, giving me Smith and either one of these guys for a solid combo. I can afford to trade a RB.. hopefully the JAx backfield but i might need to give up M Bell or even R Droughns (not my first option). Who would you rather have: Driver or Wayne? Would you give up one of these RBs, or stay pat, go with Glenn, and dont even do this deal? ps- its 1 qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 FLEX, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF.. PPR league. law dogs 0 Posted September 1, 2006 I would rather have Wayne, he is going to have a big year. Driver is good, but Farve isn't going to have the time to find him. Look at mine, Law Dogs
harrinjj22 0 Posted September 1, 2006 I agree, try to get Wayne if you can. Driver will have an ok year. Please see mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=226879
dws7 0 Posted September 1, 2006 Wayne is the safer pick b/c the Indy offense is a guarantee to score points. I think Driver could actually have the bigger year b/c he'll probably be the focus of the offense, especially when they're already down 21 points in the second quarter. Again, this depends on Favre actually staying on his feet to throw the ball.
aauhoops33 0 Posted September 1, 2006 personally id take a number 1 reciever on a throw heavy team than a number 2 reciever on a throw heavy team, driver was like top 5 last year in balls thrown to him, and will get even more with the gb running situation, if you get thrown to enough, you'll catch some. sharkie22 0 Posted September 1, 2006 You should be able to give up less for Driver than for Wayne. I'd go with whichever receiver looks like he'll be the best return against what the other person wants. Or not at all if the price is too high. Your question isn't really ready to answer without knowing more.
unclemercy 53 Posted September 1, 2006 don't blame driver. it's possible you could be looking at a one touchdown average per game.... year long... as a team. be leery of all packers... and dump a crumb bum back, depending on wayne's owner's needs, and upgrade as much as doable here 91197MOM
purple 0 Posted September 1, 2006 I have wayne in a different echelon than driver. I agree with previous post that gb as a team will score average 13 - 16 points, and you dont want the wr on that team usually. Best of luck. Sponge Bob 0 Posted September 1, 2006 Definitely Wayne. I think Driver is overhyped. He couldn't do much last year either as a #1. Not consistent enough. Here's mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227044
Steelers 1 0 Posted September 1, 2006 Wanye is in a better offense, but has to share the ball. Driver's team will be behind a lot, so a lot of balls will come his way. I would stay put. Check Mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227051
himmystyles 30 Posted September 1, 2006 The thing is, both guys who i might deal with are high on Droughns and want him. Im in a nice spot having reuben as my Flex... im basically the only squad to have 3 RBs who (at least for now) are unquestioned #1s in my starting lineup. Both will require a RB in return-even if i give up Fred taylor and toefield that leaves me with ONE backup in mike bell.. I just dont knwo if its worth it to take that depth loss to have a really solid #2 rather than a T Glenn or reggie brown.
Ray_T 753 Posted September 1, 2006 I dont think there is any doubt about it. Wayne is your man.
