Former Dem leader Daschle calls pulling mini-series "appalling"

Recommended Posts

I think it natural for each side to oppose their respective clan being assailed in some way, but not be terribly concerned about their opponents. We are run by children, right now the Dem's dont have control of the cookie jar and that is why they are the main whiners. Should control return to them, the Repubs will complain just as mightily.....again, little crybaby girls, all of them. I am pretty sure a few post here as well ;)

11/10/2003 Nice link!

The Reagans

WTF?

Amid a maelstrom of criticism from Republicans, conservative commentators and Ronald Reagan's family, CBS last week canceled the Nov. 16 and 18 broadcasts

Sound familiar?

I guess networks should only pull mini-series' that paint Reps in a bad light, and one's that smear Dems should be aired.

The difference is people had to get off their couch and go spend $10 to see Michael Moore's garbage. If you wanted to see it, you did....if you didn't, you didn't. Make 9-11 into a motion picture release and I have no problem...put it on freely distributed network TV and pawn it off as actual fact and it reeks of biased political bashing.

Exactly who would break into your hut and make you put your TV on ABC Sunday night?

Idiot.

This reeks of conservative-style fascism.

Idiot. :dunno:

I know reading comprehension is not your strong suit, so let me slow down for you.

A. Michael Moore's junk...you had to CHOOSE and PAY to see.

B. 9-11/Knot's Landing mini-series...FREELY distributed on NETWORK tv that EVERY tv receives. You still have to turn the tv on to see it, but that is much, much more accessible than Michael Moore.

C. Everyone knows Michael Moore's movies are simply the way he shapes the world around him...anyone that watches his movies without a grain of salt is a moron. However, this mini-series is being pushed as actual historical fact when it clearly is not.

D. Network tv should be above biased political bashing. Make 9-11 into a feature film or kick it to a cable company.
