chiz3 1 Posted September 17, 2006 Not loving the board today. I may, just may, take a teaser. I hate them I know how they "work" but thats the only play I actually like so far. Det +14 1/2 Cincy -5 Still trying to talk myself out of the tease, but gotta do something, right?(God forbid I just cash in yesterdays)
Hurricane Ditka 0 Posted September 17, 2006 Well, I'll add my worthless picks. I've been riding Hurricane Ditka's picks for college so far. Anyway... Denver/KC Under 38 Dallas -6.5 Buffalo +6 Rams/Niners Over 43.5 Atlanta -5 Philly -3 (Could be the wrong pick since HD likes the Giants) And I've done very little teasers this year as they are sucker bets, but I'm thinking about doing this 10 point teaser Baltimore -2.5 Cincy -.5 Arizona +17 8-0 last week on posted NFL picks is one in a million! I do like the Tiki to run over Philly today though. Good to see join in with the rest of us degens!

I took a few years off from betting, but decided to get back in this year. I took some of your NFL picks last week and some from the prescription.com. Lots of good info between the two boards. GL. Bouve 0 Posted September 17, 2006 I added a bunch of plays on page 1 including what I am calling a Ditka parlay, lets see if Ditka can go 2 weeks in a row with a solid showing. I am leaning heavy on Indy this week. Opener at home vs a weak Houston team should mean the game is over by halftime. good luck

OGAR 0 Posted September 17, 2006 I read the thread and considered calling some in it out but in Ditka's spirit of "sharing info and not flaming each other", I decided to just chime in with my single pick of the day. I like the Ravens............... HUGE!!!!!!!! Anyone curious should do the research on Oak and covering ATS! OH YEAH..... and they should have watched MNF this past week. That was OAK at home. Against a good SD D. pls notice I said 'good". Balt has RAY-RAY, Mcallister, ED, Suggs and more. Balt may sack Oak, 10 times today. Moss gets totally taking out of this one. One on One by the best cover corner in the game today. Mcnair and Co. score 30. Oak "may" score, but no guarantees. Thats my play. It'll be a big one. No sense "mentionig dollar totals", since this is the internet and that sorta thing just looks funky.

GridIronAssassin#1 0 Posted September 17, 2006 Here you go:Max Power Preminitions so, Dallas or Washington? Adding the following: Washington +7 1 unit Washington ML 1 unit Yep, I think I agree with this pick. I think that was all public money that drove the spread to +7. And Dallas looked very discombobulated at the end of the Jacksonville game last week. I don't think I have enough guts to play Washington even though. Although it could be a good bet. jmueller44 0 Posted September 18, 2006 so, Dallas or Washington? I don't lay wagers on games that I can't predict the outcome confidently. I usually pick 2-4 games per week, depending on what is on the docket. "Max Power" With that said - I like Dallas in this game, but by 7 might be a bit of a stretch.... Prediction would be Dallas by 6, so I guess that means taking WASH +7 is the call, but that is too close of a call for me to put money on.

GiantsRule 0 Posted September 18, 2006 Need one solid play to clean up the bloodbath that was today. Almost had an O-for, had Warner not been stopped so Hass covered my dog prop. Everything else was just bad luck (Favre came close to coming back; Delhomme was garbage). I'd also like to deliver a personal F-U for exaggerating about Westbrook's injury. Took a prop for Barber to run all over him and I was done by the 1st quarter. I'm pulling for Pittsburgh because of my free $100 bet on Pitt -1.5 through BetWWTS (win and I win; lose and I'm refunded).

Season Total 29-25-1 +8.81 units Parlays: 1-6 -1.1 units Sorry. The posters at FBG are experts in "bonus wh0ring" and mentioned it early last week. I signed up for at night and by the morning, they reached the requisite 500 people eligible for the promo. Unfortunately, I treated Mansion as a scam and didn't get in (and I'm miserable for it). If I hear of other super offers, I'll let you know. (By the way, Olympic Sportsbook gives 21% sign-on bonuses with a low rollover. Their odds are great, you can buy points on games in a parlay, and their props are among the best in the league (a stat junkie can really clean up). If you want to sign up, use "47829" as a reference, or shoot me an email and I can give you more details.)

phillybear 365 Posted September 18, 2006 Overall NFL: 14-17; -3.7 units Subset: 2 units or higher: 3-3; +0.0 units Monday Jacksonville (+3)@-115 for 2 units WINNER Jacksonville 1st H (+.5)@-105 for 1 unit WINNER Some key trends: Jacksonville is 7-1-1 ATS last 9 as an underdog. Jacksonville is 9-1 ATS at home vs Pitts Pittsburgh is 1-3 ATS last 4 Monday night games Pittsburgh is 10-0 SU in last 10 road games. Pittsburgh is seeing 55% of the action. Jacksonville won 12 games last year. Why are they getting points? I didn't think Pittsburgh was the best team in the NFL last year, and they might be worse this year. They should not be favored in this game. Jacksonville has played Pittsburgh tough over the years, especially at home. Probably because Jax has had a stout run defense, and Pittsburgh has been a run dominant team. Jacksonville beat Pittsburgh 23-17 last year in OT, in a game that Roethlisberger did not play. However, Fred Taylor did not play, so the impact of lost players is a cancel out. Pittsburgh is known to be a great Monday Night team under Cowher, going 16-8 ATS, but recently they are 1-3 ATS, so that trend has seemingly run its course. And I think the amazing 10 game road winning streak by Pittsburgh comes to an end tonight, as how the hell can the streak continue? 10 games is staggering. 11 games would be impossible. Last week, Pittsburgh was in great danger of losing to Miami, until Heath Miller caught a pass and took it the distance for kind of a fluke score. Pittsburgh got a pick after that, and the game was history. Miami showed that they are not yet a good team, as the just lost to Buffalo. Jax rallied, down double digits, to beat a pretty good Dallas team last week. And by game time, they were an underdog, much like tonight. If Roethlisberg does not play, fantastic. But if he plays, I still think Jacksonville will win tonight. After falling behind to Dallas last week, I think Jax comes out hungry, and I played the first half as well. I thought about taking Jax on the money line, but there have been a lot of close games the last few years, and I'll take the 3 pts as possible insurance against a potential Pittsburgh comeback at the end. The favorites went 11-4 ATS this week in the NFL. Time for a dog. Good luck to all.

GiantsRule 0 Posted September 19, 2006 Following up my horrendous Sunday with these spectacular plays: Pittsburgh Steelers QBs Total Completions Over 16.5 (-105) Player to score 1st TD: Pittsburgh Steelers QBs (16:1) Free BetWWTS promo bet: Pittsburgh Steelers -1.5; Bet $100, win $91; if it loses, get refunded Even my lovely wife is participating in her man's degenerate gambling habit: Player to score 1st TD: Hines Ward (6.5:1) Good luck to all (and if I get banned for bashing the mods/and the fvckfaces hoping for player injuries), it's been real. So long to the few good people and to my degenerate gambling brothers at arms (Ditka, cday, philly, OGAR, Bouve, and the rest), may you continue to make the books your personal b!tches! Bouve 0 Posted September 19, 2006 Unfortunately, I treated Mansion as a scam and didn't get in (and I'm miserable for it). The Mansion offer was great and probably a 1 time thing. I hedged but still got a free 400+ out of it. Apparently BETWWTS does this every Monday so I will have to check it out next week.
GridIronAssassin#1 0 Posted September 19, 2006 Posted record (2-5) The game started earlier for some reason, so I'm going to try to play both sides via "live betting"..... I'm waiting for one team to pay out over +200 then I'll bet..............then I'll wait for the score to even and hedge my principle back. It's gotta be better than the losers I put up this week. Edited to show best lines I"ve seen and current lines............ Jacksonville +114(current) .............highest +151 The over is currently at 21.5...............seems awfully low right now. GridIronAssassin#1 0 Posted September 19, 2006 This looks awfully equal to me right now. Does anybody have a feeling which way this game goes? The current total for the game is 17.5 ............... Jacksonville is about even money right now
