Patsfan39 0 Posted September 13, 2006 trading away: Mcnabb Boldin Getting: Brees Ronnie Brown Hines Ward Droughns Scoring: Rushing/recieveing 1pt 10yrds 1 pt per rec. QB- 1 pnt 25 yards .25 pnts per completion Start 2 rb's 2 wr's 1 qb 1 te
bobpate17 0 Posted September 13, 2006 I say do it. try to add rhodes and get little better QB than Brees. Who is other guy's starter. I hate to loose bolding and Mcnabb both. Ward is ok, brown is upgrade for sure and dragouns gives u some depth at RBs. But try to get better QB from him. See mine please

PythonPatrol 0 Posted September 13, 2006 I like Boldin and Mcnabb but you need another Rb so Ronnie Brown is great to get w' Ward and the others
one22eye 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Thanks for mine Pull the trigger Brees should produce, R. Brown should be a stud. It really helps your depth.
texasmouth 1 Posted September 14, 2006 IMHO Mcnabb will be a top 5 QB. Boldin will be a top 5 WR. Droughns and Brees do nothing for me. Ward is solid. Brown, not sure I am sold on him just yet. Boldin had a down week which will change........ This is a pretty so-so trade in my opinion but I would probably do it. McNabb doesnt get to play the Texans every week after all...... king41 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Don't do it...McNabb will blow up if he stays healthy as well as Boldin Thanks 4 mine...
Melvinbet 5 Posted September 14, 2006 Thanks for mine. Seems like a fair trade. You do need RB help so I say go for it. Just don't pay attention to what McNabb's doing, you might get a bit sick.
brennus90 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Looks like a good deal for you. You are improving your RB corps, which is where you needed help the most. Ward also gets a good share of TD's, and you have Andre Johnson on the bench, so your WRs remain good. I don't have too much of a problem with Brees, so looks like a good deal. c_Weezie 3 Posted September 14, 2006 Do it, you'd be stacked top to bottom. Thanks for replying to mine.
Boomer_Sooner 0 Posted September 14, 2006 If you don't take this deal you will regret it. Take the deal. Ronnie Brown is a stud at RB and he plays against cush defenses for most of the year. You'll be doing the bannana dance later in the year if ya take the trade....
masmza 0 Posted September 14, 2006 hate to simply agree w/all the others, but i too say do it,
Tacks 0 Posted September 14, 2006 I'd do it. Brown is a nice addition to your backfield. Ward is a step behind Boldin but still a solid WR. The biggest drop off would be McNabb down to Brees. I'd still do it.
throttlers 0 Posted September 14, 2006 I would do it because you really need the RB depth. Your WR's will still be strong. I would probably turn around and try and make a deal for a better QB. Mybe package some combionation of Brees, Droughns, AJ for a QB.
lsk6453 0 Posted September 14, 2006 trading away: Mcnabb Boldin Getting: Brees Ronnie Brown Hines Ward Droughns Scoring: Rushing/recieveing 1pt 10yrds 1 pt per rec. QB- 1 pnt 25 yards .25 pnts per completion Start 2 rb's 2 wr's 1 qb 1 te This is not a trade I would do unless there are 1 or 2 other FA QBs available in your league. Brees is not an every week starter right now IMO. Thanks for your answer in mine
marino 0 Posted September 14, 2006 trading away: Mcnabb Boldin Getting: Brees Ronnie Brown Hines Ward Droughns Scoring: Rushing/recieveing 1pt 10yrds 1 pt per rec. QB- 1 pnt 25 yards .25 pnts per completion Start 2 rb's 2 wr's 1 qb 1 te I would do this trade in a minute. You are improving your RB situation, getting pretty close value at the WR position and getting a solid QB in return. Ronnie Brown will be solid this year. No Ricky and Sammy Morris to back him up means more carries. Droughns I am not crazy about. This is the only player I would try to change in this deal. Try to trade Rhodes while Addai is not yet starting and see if you can get a better RB. Good Luck
Rienmann 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Thanks for mine, I don't like the idea of getting rid of McNabb he will be big this year, but you need the RB's upgraded and I think you will be OK in the WR department. I say do it.
jdjacks10 0 Posted September 14, 2006 I WOULD DO IT AS QB ARE EASIER TO COME BACK THEN WR. DROUGHEN HAD A BAD WEEK, THE BROWNS ARE EXPECTING BIG THINGS FROM HIM.
Football Fan 20 2 Posted September 14, 2006 I'd do it. Hate to lose McNabb but you get too much in return. R.Brown will be a beast all year and Droughns will be a solid backup. Ward will still get his touches and I think Brees will be ok. Thanks for answering mine

Trey5 0 Posted September 14, 2006 I actually wouldn't do that - McNabb is a stud and so is Boldin - Brown is to unproven for my taste... see mine plz http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=232343
Atlfalcon712 0 Posted September 14, 2006 trading away: Mcnabb Boldin Getting: Brees Ronnie Brown Hines Ward Droughns Scoring: Rushing/recieveing 1pt 10yrds 1 pt per rec. QB- 1 pnt 25 yards .25 pnts per completion Start 2 rb's 2 wr's 1 qb 1 te mcnabb and boldin will both be fantasy studs , brees wont put up great numbers , his best reciever is aging joe horn and with duece and bush they will run more than pass, brown while good wont put up great numbers every week, ward is coming off a hamstring injury , he wont be healthy all year wr who have hanstring injuries , generally end up back on the injury list , this means ward , to , and steve smith are all in this category, and droughns hmm not really a factor id be surprised if he is even anywhere near being a stud, so i would say keep what you have , you will be happier and you can find other free agent pickups that can compliment the rest of the team. Though, it is really close as you could use some depth at RB. I'd not do it but I don't think it would be so terrible to make the trade.
eseal 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Go for it...too much value to pass up. McNabb and Boldin should both have great seasons, but this gives you serious depth at RB. Once the Lundy/Gado mess shakes out, look to move Lundy/Gado or Droughns for a QB or WR. RB depth is always nice to have late in the season. -eseal
mrcharlie 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Man I would hate to give up them 2 but I think you have to. You need some RB help and R.Brown is your answer. Ward will not be far behind Boldin after it's said and done. I do however feel Brees will finish significantly behind Mcnabb, but you need this upgrade at RB. I'd say go for it. Thanks for input on mine.
