FreddieMercury 0 Posted September 20, 2006 Derrick Mason, BAL (@CLE) Joe Horn, NO (vs. ATL) Marques Colston, NO (vs. ATL) Reggie Brown, PHI (@SF) Eric Moulds, HOU (vs. WAS) Jerramy Cotchery, NYJ (@BUF) Jeremy Shockey, NYG (@SEA) I'm in a Yahoo league, so Colston qualifies as both a TE and a WR. Either I choose Colston as my TE, or I choose Shockey and have the option to play Colston at WR. Mason's got an OK matchup, but he's been pretty mediocre the past two weeks. Horn and Colston have tough matchups, but they've both been playing great, and it'll probably be an emotional game (1st time back at the Superdome for the Saints). I love Brown's matchup, but I've read bad things about his hammy and don't know if that will cut into his catches. Moulds has been surprisingly solid, but has a tough pass defense to deal with this week. I'm not sold on Cotchery being the real deal, and Buffalo's defense has been great so far. And Shockey is having obvious ankle issues now and isn't nearly at stud status now. As always, link me and I'll help you (I probably won't get to yours until the morning though...I have a late night project to do now). Thanks in advance! darkjedi 0 Posted September 20, 2006 Definitely run Colston as TE Cotchery is for real as long as Pennington's playing hot, and he is! Moulds Horn No on Brown, he has been overshadowed by Stallworth and hurt hammy last week Avoid Mason, he was so-so against even Oaklands awful D http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=234896
epinindy 0 Posted September 20, 2006 I'd go with Cotchery, Moulds and Mason with Colston as TE. This is the week Mason breaks out.
paul revere 0 Posted September 20, 2006 Mason , Cotchery and Horn. Colston's your TE for sure....Shockey is iffy right now with the injury. Horn will show up big on Monday night and Cotchery will get the #2 DB for Buffalo.
lsk6453 0 Posted September 20, 2006 I'd go with Cotchery, Moulds and Mason with Colston as TE. This is the week Mason breaks out. I agree with this.
PhinsFTW 0 Posted September 20, 2006 Mason/Brown/CotchColston http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=235073 exactly what i was gonna say. Colston at TE is almost unfair! which is exactly why i have him at TE in my yahoo league too. I have this gut feeling that brown will have the big game this week instead of stallworth, i just think defenses are more aware about stallworth and might back off of brown a bit. thanks for answering mine. mkuz 0 Posted September 20, 2006 i would go with mason, cotchery and colton @wr shockey @ te you cant sit shockey unless he is not playing.
FreddieMercury 0 Posted September 20, 2006 Thanks to everyone who's posted so far! It sounds like the consensus is that Colston should be my TE, and Cotchery and Mason should be in at WR. So who should be the #3 WR? Horn, Brown, or Moulds? Thanks again for all the help!
bugal39 0 Posted September 21, 2006 I'd go with Cotchery, Brown, Horn, and Colston. Hopefully the Saints will be fired up to play at home. Brown goes against the terrible 49ers D, so he should have a nice game. Thanks for the help on mine.
throttlers 0 Posted September 21, 2006 Everyone with Horn should play him this week. This guy is a gamer and this is the biggest game for N.O. in a long time. Mon. night prime time against a big rival team and the 1st game back in the Superdome after hurricane Katrina with a sold out crowd. Expect Hollyood Horn to put on a show. You heard it here. I'd play Colston at TE and go with Mason and Crotchery for the other 2. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=235524
PatsMan 0 Posted September 21, 2006 I'd go with Mason, Cotchery, Colston at WR and Shockey at TE.

dwaterm 0 Posted September 21, 2006 Mason/Moulds/Cothery/Colston On a side note, Mason is catching 75% of his attempts and is getting targeted in the endzone.
