Need WR help very badly..too many to choose!

Recommended Posts

Ok, I'm starting driver of course but now I've got to choose.

J. Horn against Atlanta

Reggie Williams against Indy

Reggie Brown against SF

B. Berrian against Minny.

Horn is a #1 but going against a tough D but is at home.

R. Williams is now the #1 it looks like

Brown has scored twice already

Berrian looks good in Chicago

I need to pick three of the four to start. HELP!

I actually have a good feeling about Horn and the saints returning home for a very emotional game. If you have to sit him, go with Brown who faces a weak niners secondary.

i think Reggie Brown is the no brainer because of his matchup. the only question is his health but that should be fine. your second WR is a toss up between berrian and williams. i dont think reggie williams will have a big day so i'd have to go with berrian but its up to you. like i said, its a toss up. as for horn, with deangelo hall covering him, i think it'll be a loonng day

Help Please

Thanks for replying to mine.

I think the one to bench here is Brown. While he's got a couple of scores early on, he's not targeted by McNabb very often. Stallworth and LJ Smith seem to be his go-to guys right now.

I really like Reg Williams, he's developing nicely and I think that Jax has a chance to do some nice things on offense this week vs Indy. I was actually thinking of going with Leftwich this week over Bulger and Kitna, hoping that Jax has to put up a lot of points to keep pace with Indy. Thoughts?

Thanks again.

I really like Horn on Monday night. The Saints are going to be sky high and the crowd nuts. I really look for Joe Horn to do some big things on Monday night.

As for the other one, probably Berrian and I heard Reggie Brown has a hammy issue. If Brown were healthy I'd play him, but since not I'd go Berrian.

Thanks for replying to mine.

Well Bulger I think is finally going to light it up this week, but with Jax going against Indy, it could be a shootout. Tough choice.

I would go R. Williams and R. Brown.

i agree here, williams is the #1 in jax against a fairly weak colts secondary and the fact that jones may not play should increase his touches this week. brown is also a solid pick and against a bad SF defense he should have a decent game.

I like the Reggies as well. Philly will be throwing the ball all over SF this weekend. Look for Stallworth, LJ and Brown to all have big days, along with McNabb obviously.

Jax/Indy is tougher to call. It could be a low scoring game like they played last year when Indy won 10-7 or it could be a shoot-out with both offenses putting up big numbers. I'd say its more likely to be some where in the middle. Something to the tune of 20-17 with Reggie grabbing one of the those TDs to go along with 60-80 yds.

As someone else mentioned, DeAngelo Hall will make life tough on Horn this weekend. Emotion can only take you so far before superior talent takes over.
