Melvinbet 5 Posted September 27, 2006 My team is in my signature below. I am planning on offering Keyshawn and Gonzo for Branch. I would like to free up a space on my roster by doing 2 for 1 and add a quality receiver. I have Winslow who has done well for me and thought that I could pick up a 2nd TE for bye week or in case of injury. There's still a few decent TE's available on my leagues WW. I don't need Branch to excell right away, just looking at a few games down the road. Keyshawns value took a jump this week however I really don't want to keep him around. I think days like this past Sunday for Keyshawn could be a rarity. Any thoughts/advice on this would be appreciated. As usual, I will help with yours. gobuckeyes 0 Posted September 27, 2006 Keyshawn and Gonzo seems like a lot to give up for Branch. Really with SS back and Car's offense likely to make a big jump, I would think Key is only slightly less value than Branch. How many players do you start in this league? Your roster is ridiculous and really the only worthwhile move I think you could make would be for an elite player, not someone middle of the pack like Branch. c_Weezie 3 Posted September 27, 2006 Seems like a lot for Branch, who looks like he will be a #2 behind DJax. I might try and lowball with just Keyshawn for Branch, then if he doesnt take, toss in Gonzo. But tossing in Gonzo you should get someone else w/ Branch. Thats just my opinion. salparadise 1 Posted September 27, 2006 Would you leave your email so I can invite you to my league next year? just kidding, but I would not make this trade. Do you remember what Mushin M. did in his last year opposite of Steve Smith? Hold on to him. He will give you much better numbers than Branch. See mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=237932
RayLewis52 0 Posted September 27, 2006 Keyshawn will continue to put up solid numbers. He is proven and with SS back, defenses have to split both sides of the field. Gonzo is one of the few passing options in KC. I put Keyshawn and Branch on the same level. Branch has a lot of competition in Seattle and i see them spreading the ball out. Hold off on the offer. Thanks for answering mine.
Melvinbet 5 Posted September 27, 2006 How about Bryant? Is he worth pursuing?
strangebrew 0 Posted September 27, 2006 i think keyshawn is worth more than branch himself. not worth it. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=237906
iforgotmypassword 0 Posted September 27, 2006 no. you're giving up waaay too much. I'd have a hard time giving up either for branch. he's on a new team, and has never led in any fantasy aspect. although he's a great reciever, but he's not a great fantasy reciever. gonzo and keyshawn are both better options in fantasy right now. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=237898 added: Bryant isn't worth it either. He's super inconsistant. I know, I started himlast week.... For those two guys, if you want to get rid of em, are worth a reliable #2 reciever. find whoever's weak at TE, and go after their #2 guy. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=237898
Melvinbet 5 Posted September 27, 2006 The guy with the weakest TE's has Stallworth, R. Brown, Branch, Ward and Roy Williams. He won't let go of Stallworth I know. He made it clear to everyone.

Well, I also think you're paying too much for Branch. His best season of his career was last season. 998 yards total receiving. I think that makes him a solid #3 WR or a #2 WR on a bad team. What you are giving up should get you a #1 WR or at the very least, a very good #2 WR. see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=237774
