ggroovy17 0 Posted September 28, 2006 My opponent has Donovan McNabb and I know i'm starting Reggie Brown but am tempted to start LJ Smith instead of Matt Jones. Should I play both Eagles to counter Donovan McNabb? My WR's right now are Reggie Wayne, Reggie Brown, and Matt Jones(possibly LJ Smith). Leave a link and I will help you out. beef and sausage combo 0 Posted September 28, 2006 that's a tough question. i usually believe in worry about your own team and not starting guy based on the opponents. but matt jones is a risky play vs. the washington D. i think i'd still stick with jones over LJ. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=238649
alpha1906 0 Posted September 28, 2006 I would start LJ Smith with Reggie Brown. The matchup against GB is too tempting. Donovan will spread the love on Monday night!!

I like the idea of canceling out the opponenets QB. (I threw C. Henry into my lineup last week when I was playing the Palmer owner although I still lost.) Anyway, I also have Matt Jones and he's only a better play than LJ Smith (given the McNabb factor) if his groin is healthy. He barely played last week and the JAX offense lost any downfield threat b/c of it. You're gonna have to wait until game day (but JAX plays at 4:00) to make a decision. Unless you can confirm that Matt Jones is absolutely healthy, I'd go w/ LJ. (Note: even if healhty, he's facing Champ Bailey.) http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=238680 http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=238525 2:
